SympathyOur dear sister Helen Summers passed away Wednesday, September 8th. She would have been 96 on Tuesday, September 14th. There was a graveside service Saturday, September 11 at Mount Kenton Cemetery in Lone Oak.

Clothing Room UpdateWith the COVID-19 restrictions easing in our area we are planning to reopen the clothing room to the public. The seasons are changing and many in our community are in need of clothing assistance.

This ministry is need of a leader, as well as volunteers to help man the clothing room when it is open to the public. If you are able to help, please contact Stan Allen at (270) 556-7525.

Tony Henderson has had a recurrence of cancer.

Kayla, Katie, & Maie Irick have COVID. So far their cases are mild.

Carol Enlow asks that we be praying for Christina & Ryan Looper. Christina is pregnant; nearing her due date. Ryan has tested positive for COVID.

Shawn Rowton is being treated at Baptist for COVID.

Many in our community and congregation are down with COVID or are quarantining from exposure. Be looking for ways to reach out and encourage your friends and neighbors.

Thank you so much for partnering with Paducah Power System and the American Red Cross to host the 15th annual Power for Patients blood drive. We had two strong days of support from area blood donors helping us provide 172 units of blood for patients in need in our community. We greatly appreciate being able to use your facility. Power for PatientsWed. & Thurs., September 8-9, 11:30am-5:30pm, FLCWe are honored to host the Annual Paducah Power - Power for Patients Blood Drive. Appointments can be made through the Red Cross; walk-ins welcomed. Paducah Power System customers who donate receive a one-time credit on their electric bill. This event is a huge help to our community and area hospitals in desperate need of blood products.
