Get a great start to the Youth on the Move event by playing games and having fun! Challenge your knowledge about Europe in the EU Map competition and spin the Wheel of Fortune to win amazing prizes.
Up-and-coming stage director Viesturs Roziņš brings his latest production to the Youth on the Move event. Inspired by Roziņš’ personal experiences with Erasmus and Youth in Action projects, the play features sketches about studying and working abroad. Young actors from Creative Group HArF expertly portray the dynamics of living and communicating in a di�erent culture.
Youth in Action, represented by the Agency of International Programs for Youth, encourages young people to travel around the EU and beyond, explore new cultures and get involved in non-formal learning projects. Youth in Action invites the audience to take part in a competition, testing their knowledge and giving away great prizes! Don’t miss it!
Students from the Latvian Culture College share their experiences with exchange programmes through creative, mixed media performances. They use projections of real diary entries, theatrical sketches, dance, and audience participation to portray the brightest moments of their Erasmus experiences.
I can be a Prime Minister! Join your peers in a simulation game and �nd out what being a Latvian Prime Minister is all about!
19.00 - 19.15 Try your luck with the Wheel of Fortune – and with the National Agency for the Lifelong Learning Programme in Latvia. They have great information and amazing prizes to give away to audience members, who have a chance to spin the wheel and answer a question about the Lifelong Learning Programme.
19.15 - 20.00
Chill out lounge. Come and see a selection of inspiring video clips being screened at the Youth on the Move tent throughout the evening. Among them are Erasmus stories from students, testimonials from Youth on the Move Ambassadors from all over the EU, Euronews and other videos about education and mobility projects.

Aigars Sīlis is a talented young chef at the Kaļķu Vārti restaurant who won �rst place at the national Young Professional 2012 competition. He gives a presentation about his experience in the EuroSkills 2012 and WorldSkills Leipzig 2013 competitions, as well as a demonstration of how to make some spectacular appetizers and ice cream.
NOASS is a creative intelligence association that presents the Engine Room Europe project at the Youth on the Move event. It improves mobility among youth who wish to work in the �eld of independent culture. The presentation o�ers valuable information on how exchange programmes and youth initiatives can be helpful for professional growth.

14.30 - 15.30 The Latvian Samaritans, who have participated in the Grundtvig programme, give a dramatic theatrical performance that also brings vital information on �rst aid.

Get an audio interpretation of youth mobility through a musical performance that was inspired by time spent abroad with the Erasmus programme! Get a new perspective – and a new look!
The journalist and expert on EU issues opens the Youth on the Move tent, which he hosts and moderates throughout the three days of the event. Come and meet him!
The Europe House information point is located in the Youth on the Move tent to provide all kinds of information on the EU. It also hosts activities for di�erent ages: an EU quiz, questionnaire, map puzzle and kids’ corner. The active participants have the chance to win gifts and prizes. Everyone is welcome!
2013 is the European Year of Citizens, and Europe House invites you to re�ect on your role in the EU.
