The Martin family warmly welcome you to our 8th Annual Bull & Breeder Sale. We are incredibly proud of the bulls we offer for sale in 2018. We are honored to be joined in our sale this year by stud number 81 – Nangaringa Santa Gertrudis Stud run by the Fogden family in Loxton South Australia. Two of the Nangaringa bulls will travel with Riverslea to be exhibited at this years EKKA. If you are at Brisbane Show be sure to drop around to the show stalls to inspect the bulls or see them on judging day (Thursday 9th August). Lots 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6 will be exhibited and on display.

The Riverslea bulls represent the very best of our herd, with a reflection on type, muscle, doing ability and great temperament. As always, the Riverslea Bulls are prepared sensibly under realistic commercial conditions.

The bulls have enjoyed the extra attention they’ve had this year with our eldest son Lachlan joining our work force. We also thank Lachlan for the hours of work he has done by putting together this catalogue.

Riverslea bulls are proving to be very versatile – selling into all the Eastern States. Every year they go out and prove themselves in Stud and Commercial operations. We sincerely believe that you won’t get better value for money bulls than at Riverslea Bull & Breeder Sale.

Sale Information 2018

Inspections: We encourage pre-sale inspection of the stud cattle. Contact us to make a suitable time. Lots 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6 will be exhibited at Brisbane Royal Show (EKKA).

Health: Riverslea bulls have all been vaccinated with 7in1 & Pestigard (boosters due May annually). The bulls have been subjected to a breeding soundness inspection by Inverell Veterinary Clinic, at the time of semen testing.

Fertility Test: Bulls have been subjected to a crush side semen test prior to sale. The results will be included on the supplementary sheet published at www.riverslea.com.au 24 hours prior to sale, and available at the sale. Individual certificates can be provided on request.

Insurance: We recommend that you insure your purchases. Catering: The Inverell Sale Yards operate a full canteen.

Auction: The sale will be operated under the standard Livestock Auction Terms & Conditions. For further information please contact the selling agents.

GST: GST is added to the sale price on invoice after the fall of the hammer.

Breeding Guarantee: In the unlikely event that there is a problem with your bull please contact us in the first instance. If the issue cannot be resolved we agree to credit the purchaser with a refund of the initial purchase price (without expenses, interest costs, damages or similar) less the salvage value of the beast. The credit can be used at our 2019 sale or on a paddock sale bull. Any complaint must be lodged within 6 months of purchase and be accompanied by a veterinary certificate. We may require the bull to be returned at our discretion. We cannot guarantee bulls against disease or injury sustained after sale.

Outside Agent Rebate: We will offer outside agent rebates. You must contact us 24hrs prior to sale day to arrange this.

Can’t speak highly enough of this rising 10 year old bull. He is so sound despite his work load (stud duties and commercial joinings). His stud progeny have gone on to perform exceptionally well in ours and other studs. Diggers progeny have proved themselves, having outstanding ADG’s in feedlots and performance in grass fed enterprises. Digger is a consistent producer of top level calves. He adds a sleek coat, great temperament and muscle to our herd.
