  • Why do we need IT governanceThe reputation of any statistical office and trust of those who contribute data to it are of paramount importance.

    As technologists, we must work closely with those that are our customers and business partners to introduce the necessary controls so that there is a shared and consistent accountability.

    This is the rationale for IT Governance within ONS.
