Welcome back to Term 4! This is traditionally a very busy term and we have set dates for our important end of year activities, which I’m sure you will want to add to your calendars;

• Intensive Swimming Year 2/3: November 11th – 22nd • Showcase Matinee and Night Performance: November 28th • 6/7 Transition Days to Rivers College Campuses: November 26th and December 3rd • Celebration of Achievement: December 11th • Year 6 Farewell and 3-6 Disco: December 16th • Preschool Graduation: December 17th • Last Day of School: December 18th

Enrolment for 2020 Our transition to Preschool, Kindergarten and Year 7 programs are conducted in Term 4. In addition, we have “Step Up Days” in school to prepare students for what is expected at the next stage and/or year level. It is very important that we have details about children starting with us in 2020, from Preschool, Kindergarten and through to Year 6 and accurate information about where our Year 6 children are going to secondary school. If your child is starting with us in Preschool or Kindergarten next year please collect and hand in enrolment forms to the school office as soon as possible. If there has been a change in secondary school placements for Year 6 children, please also inform the office. Before and After School Information Our school day officially begins at 8.30am and school staff begin supervision at this time. Please ensure your child does not arrive at school before 8.30am. Students arriving on the early bus should be seated under the COLA outside the hall. Our school day concludes at 3pm. For those families collecting their child/children and exiting the school on Kyogle St, please be aware this gate will be shut at 3.10pm. If you are picking up your child/children from Phyllis St we appreciate your promptness to ensure they are collected at 3pm and they cross the road using the crossing on the corner of Wilson and Phyllis Sts. This means children walking or travelling home by car can do so safely, before our students leave on buses. Have a lovely week. Nickie Bartlett Principal
