Service Order Management systems can use a standardized API instead of custom integrations per network element

Custom networks elements integration is done by the one who knows most about them in the organization

▪ Allows much greater flexibility in the design of complex new services

Creates an abstraction layer where the IT department doesn't need to model the service based on Network Element Capabilities

Allows the introduction of new vendors at network level much easier
