Dear Colleague,
I am delighted to announce our NEW course on bone and soft tissue grafting. Our limited attendance course is designed to allow you to immediately and effectively incorporate practical tips and tricks in your practice. We are committed to prepare you to meet the ongoing challenges that we clinicians face when there is no room for error and grafting is not an option.
The first day the principles of grafting and periodontics will be explained in details by showing step by step extensive clinical presentations. A long series of full HD videos will give the participants the feeling of being part of the surgery itself. Then a practical hands-on on pig’s jaw will allow participants to become familiar with the techniques by performing several surgical simulations. The use of novel biomaterials, revolutionary surgical instruments and the digital surgical planning will help us to better prepare a biomimetic, minimally invasive and long lasting surgical reconstruction. The second day a series of live surgeries and interactive discussion will serve as the foundation of our course. Dr. Tabanella lectures in Europe as well as in the US on implant and periodontal surgery, aesthetics, peri-implant bone remodeling, soft and hard tissue reconstruction. His research focuses on tissue regeneration and augmentation as well as peri-implant. He mainta ins a p r i vate p ract ice l im i ted to periodontology, reconstructive and implant surgery in Rome, Italy.
Dr. Tabanella is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. He graduated from the University of Southern California-Los Angeles-USA where he obtained the Certificate in Periodontics as well as the Master of Science in Craniofacial Biology. He was awarded “Outstanding Periodontal Graduate Student Research In Surgery And Implantology” by the California Society of Periodontists for his study on bone remodeling.
He is the Scientific Coordinator of the International Implant Conference, and reviewer and author of original articles published in peer-reviewed journals such as the International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Implants, Journal of American Dental Association, Journal of Inflammation, World Journal of Stomatology, Clinical Implant Dentistry and Related Research.

Starting from the principles of bone regeneration, the course will show simple to complex cases in the esthetic areas. Full HD surgical videos as well as clinical pictures will emphasize anatomical and surgical details of donor and recipient sites.
Every surgery will be explained step-by-step in order to provide in-depth training for the participants in the manipulation of peri-implant tissues.
A hands-on session as well as live surgeries will give participants awareness of performing tissue augmentation from a periodontal perspective.
