What iscritical infrastructure?Criticalinfrastructureisanasset,systemorpartthereoflocatedinMemberStateswhichisessentialforthemaintenanceofvitalsocietalfunctions,health,safety,security,economicorsocialwell-beingofpeople,andthedisruptionordestructionofwhichwouldhaveasignificantimpactinaMemberStateasaresultofthefailuretomaintainthosefunctions.Examplesofcriticalinfrastructureincludesupplyofbasicserviceslikewater,food,energy,transport,housing/shelter,communications,finance,health.
