Ordering InstructionsYour order will be entered acknowledged promptly if you supply us with certain essential information:

A. Each item to be purchased must be identified by a complete product number The quantity of each item to be purchased.

C. If an item is modified in any way, the letters “MOD” must be used as a suffix on the catalog number

D. Unit price and extended price as determined from the TEC Educational Furniture Price List, or a quotation from one of our Project Coordinators.

E. If shop drawings are needed, note this requirement on your Purchase Order. You must supply architectural prints of pertinent building areas when requesting shop drawings.

F. Additional detailed information, as specified by the attached “Order Information Checklist”, must be supplied before your order can be processed.

Failure to supply essential order information may result in delays in processing your order.

PricesThese prices supersede all previously issued prices. All prices shown are list prices, unless otherwise noted, and are subject to change with out notice. Prices stated are for standard finishes and laminates. Special finishes are subject to an up charge. Up charge for special laminates will be quoted upon request.

Discounts Discounts can be obtained by contacting a Project Coordinator. When obtaining discounts, you must be prepared to provide total list price information, estimated delivery dates, as well as all other information asked for on the Project Registration form. If delivery of project is going to happen in a year different from the

current year, it must be noted on the Project Registration Form, otherwise pricing is assumed to be for delivery in current calendar year.

Payment TermsNet 30 days from date of invoice, F.O.B. Factory

TaxesAny sales or excise tax, or any other tax or government charge now or hereafter levied upon the product, sale, use or shipment of goods shall, at the Company’s option, be charged to the customer.

Changes to OrdersChanges to orders already acknowledged are subject to a fee covering the cost of making the requested change, with a minimum charge of $65.00.

Terms and Conditions

Cancellation of OrdersAll acknowledged orders are considered firm and cannot be canceled without written authorization from TEC Educational Furniture. A cancellation fee will be calculated based upon cost incurred by TEC Educational Furniture with a minimum charge of $65.00.

Return AuthorizationNo merchandise may be returned for credit with out our previous agreement. Unauthorized returns will NOT be accepted.

WarrantyTEC Educational Furniture will provide a limited 15 year warranty on its manufactured wood library furniture. The warranty will provide to repair or replace any wood components at no cost due to poor workmanship or substandard quality, subject to normal wear and tear. All purchased parts and hardware components will be to the warranties extended by their individual manufacturers. Specifically excluded from warranty claims will be abusive or abnormal usage, water damage, or damage from solvents, products altered or modified by the user, or user’s attached accessories. Also excluded is any freight damage, concealed or otherwise, as this should be filed with respective carrier. Warranty does not extend to variations of wood grain patterns or color variations caused from wood proper-ties.

Freight Damage and ShortagesAll freight damages on prepaid and add shipments must be reported to TEC Educational Furniture within 15 days of delivery.

All shortages must be reported to TEC Educational Furniture within 30 days of delivery. Any freight damage or shortage reported after these dates will be at the expense of the dealer including but not limited to materials and freight charges.

Top Fillers for shelving units 42”, 48” and 60” h utilize durable High Pressure Laminate surfaces. Shelving units that are 72” and 82” h, top fillers are inverted so the wood veneers are visible inside the shelving unit.

Bases are constructed of 3 ½” thick Veneer core Plywood

Species of wood veneers avail-able standard include Oak and Maple. Other wood species avail-

able upon request.

Finish process includes a coat of catalyzed clear varnish

Finish Colors available as standard include Lt Oak, Med Oak, Dark Oak, Mahogany on Oak and Natural or Cherry on Maple. Custom finishes available upon request.

Optional accessories include solid oak picture book shelves w/ wire dividers, Plywood magazine display shelves, 18 ga steel flat, backstop, picture book, magazine and multi-media shelves, book stops, mobile shelving with steel bases.

The Impressions Series from TEC Educational Furniture sets the standard for quality in your Library. For our uprights only hand selected, rift cut, Northern grown Red Oak Veneers are used over a 1” plywood core TEC’s rich, deep, and lustrous wood finish is accomplished by using our Five Step finishing process, starting with hand sanding and completed with a top coat of clear catalyzed lacquer for an extremely hard and durable finish. As with all of the TEC Educational Furniture Caseworks products – Impressions shelving can be ordered with a custom stain and custom laminates to perfectly match your color scheme. All units have adjustable shelves in 1 ¼” increments in 3/4” solid oak or optional 18 gauge steel.

Fully captured backs are included for a more finished look and added stability. Backs come standard as 1/4 “ thick plywood finished to match each case. Backs for both double sided and single sided units are finished on both sides. Veneer MDF backs are available as well. Please consult your TEC Educational Furniture Dealer for pricing.

All units 72 and 82” high include our unique H-brace made of oak veneer plywood. This H-brace is designed to eliminate bowing that may occur when temperature and humidity change.

Our standard Impressions shelving is available in several depths and heights and can also be ordered in any custom size to fit your unique needs.

Shelving units are carefully hand packaged for shipment. Assembly is required. For ease of assembly “Quick Assembly” instructions, with a parts list, is enclosed with each unit. All assembly hardware is USA standard size, no special tools are required.

Impressions Shelving

The Impressions Series Circulation Desk is created with a unique blend of old world craftsmanship and modern engineering. This modular wood desk ships completely set-up like fine case goods utilizing traditional dowel and glued joints. All units can be mixed and matched to configure into a personalized circulation desk that supports your work environment. Desk units, storage units and technical units are available in either elementary height (32”) or adult height (39”). Multiple storage options are also available to optimize your storage and organizational needs.

All Impressions circulation desk tops and counters are 1 ¼” thick for extra rigidity. The .050 thick high pressure laminate top with balancing backer sheet eliminates warping. A ¾” x 1 ¼” northern grown solid oak, external edge band is hand applied and profiled.

All Impressions circulation desk components receive TEC’s rich, deep, and lustrous wood stains, accomplished by our five step finishing process which starts with hand sanding and ends with a clear catalyzed lacquer for an extremely hard and durable finish.

As with all of TEC Educational Furniture’s products – Impressions circulation desks can be ordered with a custom stain and custom laminates to perfectly match your color scheme.

Our standard Impressions circulation desk components are available in many shapes and heights but you can also order any custom style, configuration or size to fit your unique needs.

Legs are made of 2 ¼” Square glued up strips of Solid Oak with a slight decorative taper.

Glides adjust to 3/4”Attachment of leg to top is secured using a 5” x 5” Steel Leg Plate with all metal-to-metal attachment

Tops have a .050 High Pressure Laminate face and balancing sheet over a 1 ¼” Particle Board Core with a ¾” Red Oak Trim

Finish process includes a final coat of catalyzed clear varnish

Finish Colors available as standard include Lt, Med, Dark, Chest-nut and Mahogany on Oak and Natural or Cherry on Maple

Laminate Selections available from all standard Wilson Art, Pionite, Formica or Nevamar

The Impressions Series Table features the strongest table leg attachment system – solid oak legs attaching to a ¼” steel plate with two steel bolts into an imbedded double barrel nut. Each leg plate assembly is then machine bolted into the table top in a star pattern of five pre-threaded metal inserts. Leg must be attached.

Impressions tables have a 1 ¼” thick top that utilizes a .050 thick high pressure laminate with balancing backer sheet to eliminate warping. A ¾” x 1 ¼” northern grown solid oak edge band is hand applied and profiled creating a rounded external edge.

TEC’s rich, deep, and lustrous wood stains are accomplished by our five step finishing process. Starting with hand sanding and ending with one coat of clear catalyzed lacquer for an extremely hard and durable finish.

As with all of the TEC Educational Furniture’s products – Impressions tables can be ordered with a custom stain and custom laminate to perfectly match your color scheme.

Our standard Impressions tables are available in many shapes and heights but can also be ordered in any custom shape or size to fit your unique needs. Custom edge treatments also available.
