Important note for installing Aspen Hysys v7.2 in Window 7 Requirements:Power ISO, SQL Express advanced as what I have uploaded at 4shared Preparation steps: 1. Download the SQLEXPR_AVD.EXE and install it for your computer. During installation, select to install in ‘Mixed Authentication Mode’ when being asked. This SQL is essential for aspen hysys v7.2 in Window 7. 2. Install the power ISO. Then open power ISO to mount the aspenONE7.2DVD1 (ISO format) as the bootable image for LOCAL DISK. Why doing so? Because after that, you would only be able to start installation by going to ‘my computer’, and select bootable aspenONE7.2DVD1 to start installtion. 3. Open the ‘AspenOneV7 Suite Installation Guide.pdf’, that I uploaded, and follows the steps 1 to create another Administrator account. Your current administrator account cannot be used. REMEMBER for one mistake written inside the pdf, which is you should key in -----net user administrator\ active:yes—(not / but \)---until you see the cmd black screen written ‘command completed sucessfully’ Installation: >>Must follow ‘strictly’ all the steps in the AspenOne V7 Suite installation Guide.pdf for a succefull installation.

Installing Message Queueing in Windows 7by Heathesh 29. October 2009 22:38

This is a fix to the problem when you try and create a new private queue in MSMQ that says: "Message Queue service is not available." I started with the install process just to cover all my bases, but if you've already installed MSMQ and are getting the error simply find the "Message Queuing" service and change the "Log On" type to "Local System Account", and restart the service.

Installing the MSMQ

Open the Control Panel, select "Programs" --> "Turn Windows features on or off"Tick the "Microsoft Message Queue (MSMQ) Server" Checkbox and click "Okay"

Changing the log on account

Once the service has been installed, open the Control Panel, select "System and Security" --> "Administrative Tools" --> "Services"Find the "Message Queuing" service, right click and select "Properties"Select "Log On", and change this to "Local System Account", click "Apply" and then "Okay"Now, right click the "Message Queuing" service and select "Restart"

Checking the service

Once the service has been restarted, you will be able to see which queues etc. you have by opening "Control Panel" --> "System and Security" --> "Administrative Tools" -- >"Computer Management" and expanding "Services and Applications" --> "Message Queuing"
