Thank you to everyone. Congratulations to all of the award recipients on their achievements throughout the year. Also congratulations to Jayden Woodhead and Rory Murdoch on being named as School Captains for 2018. School Reports have been sent home today. Parents are encouraged to make an appointment with their class teacher if they wish to discuss any aspects of the report. Also included in the report is our PLAN Data Parent Feedback, which gives more detail of where your child is at and gives ideas of how you as parents can assist at home, with your child’s learning. Attached to the newsletter is a class list for 2018 along with class teachers. We are very excited to have 7 classes, with the majority of classes with their year level. Everyone is reminded however, that this is still subject to change, depending on final enrolments next year. Congratulations to Mrs Kennedy and the School Choir for their well-received performances this weekend at the Lions Club Christmas Lunch on Saturday and the Barooga Carols by Candlelight on Sunday. Tomorrow, Tuesday 12 th December, Year 6 will be attending Cobram Secondary College for Transition Day. We will also have a Transition Morning, where students will be able to get together with their new class and new teacher. This coming Thursday at 11.00am (Recess) we have our Thank You Morning Tea for our wonderful volunteers and helpers. If you assisted us here at Barooga Public School in any way, be it in the kitchen, at carnivals, transporting children to events etc. you are welcome to join us. This Wednesday we have class parties. Teachers will communicate requirements with each class. This Friday is the last day for students, although staff will be here on Monday and Tuesday next week. Everyone is reminded that trespassing on school grounds is not permitted in the school holidays. In light of recent thefts from the school, police and school security are increasing patrols over the vacation period. P&C News Thanks to everyone who helped out on Presentation Day and at Carols. Between the two days we raised $1600. Thanks to all the families who donated items for their class hampers, they looked fantastic and for the 1st time we sold out of tickets on the Friday.

Hope everyone has a fantastic and safe holiday. Good luck to all the year 6's who will start a new journey.

Until next year....
