At HaMakom, teens experience dynamic
classroom experiences, once-in-a-lifetime memory-
making trips, fun social programs that are both
meaningful and exciting, and Shabbat and holiday
celebrations that are engaging and spiritual.

programSTBS teens will come together
throughout the year for religious and social programs. In addition to the social programs which will include
Top Golf, an Escape Room, and more, each grade will be invited for a
Shabbat/holiday dinner at Rabbi Wexler’s home.

HaMakom High School handS-on experiential,
religiouS and eduCational program Our 7th-12th grade High School program is taught by our Hebrew High School Director, Jared Kaufman, Alex Weinberg, TBS clergy, and other dynamic and experienced Jewish educators. Each grade has a learning theme and students take classes each year pertaining to that theme. Students also have the opportunity to select from an exciting array of elective classes. highlightS inClude:
beit makom: 7th-10th grader session with Rabbi Peltz or Rabbi Wexler every Sunday morning focusing on current events and ethics
#trending judaism: Grade-based hot topics conversation with Rabbi Wexler or Alex Weinberg every Tuesday evening.
Hesed projects: Special community service projects throughout the year. On Tuesday nights the projects will be build around various Jewish holidays and the Sunday morning projects will be field-trip based.

Jewish learning must happen beyond the walls of the
classroom and HaMakom on the Road provides
opportunities for students to experience Judaism and grow
as a Teen TBS community in real time. The highlight
of our Teen Program is our two week tenth grade
Confirmation Trip to Israel. We are now excited to offer
other travel opportunities for all TBS teens in 7th-12th
grade throughout the year.
