Circumcision became Uncircumcision • Obedience must follow the sign

• Redemption– To be released from bondage through a payment – Christ paid my sin debt (ransom) on the cross

• Propitiation (Translated mercyseat in Heb. 9:5)– To satisfy by a sacrifice, to appease – The death of Christ fully satisfied all the righteous demands of God toward the sinner.– My sin debt has been PAID IN FULL

• Remission– The putting aside of our sins, without punishment
