Congress Venues: 10 September (day one) - Il Palazzo della Provincia (Provincia di Bari) The first day of the conference (10 September) will be held in the heart of Bari at Il Palazzo della Provincia. This provincial building was designed by Lugi Baffam who then directed the Provincial Technical Office. The entire building is decorated with exceptional art work, including furniture, marble, stained glass and paintings. 10 September (Dinner – 19.00) + 11 September - Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Bari (MAIB/IAMB) The gala dinner on 10 September and the congress on 11 September is hosted by the Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Bari (MAIB/IAMB). IAMB is a centre for post-graduate training, applied scientific research and design of in-loco partnership actions in the framework of international cooperation programmes. How to reach Provincia di Bari:

By car

From the motorway take the Bari Nord exit and follow the signs to the ring road (Tangenziale), towards Brindisi-Lecce. On the ring road, Take exit 11 toward Bari Centro/Poggiofranco. Keep left at the fork, follow signs for Bari Poggiofranco. Keep right at the fork, follow signs for Foggia and merge towards Viale Giuseppe Tatarella. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit towards Via Giuseppe Sangiorgi. Sharp left towards Strada San Giorgio Martire. Continue towards Via Michele Cifarelli for 550m then Continue towards Via Giuseppe Capruzzi for about 1km and you reach your destination.

From Bari central station (Piazza Aldo Moro)

walk to Provincia di Bari (1.3 Km, 16 min walking) (see map below). Head east on Piazza Aldo Moro (75m). Continue straight Via Caduti - Via Fani (160m), Turn right to Via Dieta di Bari (59m), Turn slightly right towards Via Dieta di Bari (230m), Continue straight on Via Dieta di Bari (400m), Turn left to Via Valona (22m),

Turn right to Via Durazzo (120m), Continue to Via Addis Ababa (220m), Turn left towards Lungomare Nazario Sauro (45m), Provincia di Bari will be on the left. See map below:

From Bari-Palese Airport

use the new railroad from the airport ("Aerostazione" station) to the Bari central station ("Bari Centrale") and then walk till Provincia di Bari (see attached map) or take the bus a.m.t.ab. N.12 (ticket 1 €) from piazza Aldo Moro to Lungomare Nazario Sauro ang. Cattaro (Provincia) station (8th). After see map above.

How to reach MAIB/IAMB:

By car

From the motorway take the Bari Nord exit and follow the signs to the ring road (Tangenziale), towards Brindisi-Lecce. On the ring road, take exit N. 13B towards Taranto (S.S.100), after about 4 Km turn right towards Valenzano, at the Capurso-Valenzano exit. At Valenzano, turn right at the first roundabout towards Bari. At the third roundabout turn left towards Ceglie. IAM-Bari is 500 m ahead on the right.

By train from Bari Central Station

Exit the station in piazza Aldo Moro and catch a.m.t.ab. bus N.4 from the nearest stop in Corso Cavour 350 m from piazza Aldo Moro. Bus N.4 terminus is at MAIB. http://www.amtab.it/ (website only in Italian).

take a Taxi from those parked outside the station. IAMB has an agreement with taxi companies (“NUOVA CO.TA.BA.” and “APULIA TAXI”) of Bari. “Radio Taxi” tel: 080 55 43 333. Once you arrive at the entrance of IAMB, the guard will ask you to pay for the taxi ride.

From Bari-Palese Airport

On the 12th of September GAL Terre di Murgia will organise an excursion for all congress participants (free of charge). During which you will have a chance to visit local organic producers and taste typical cuisine of the region.
