Getting a taxi using a mobile application is gaining popularity in the world today because they can be used to get taxis conveniently without stress or waste of time . Mobile application usage is satisfying human needs in many

sectors of the economy: education sector, agricultural sector, entertainment sector, transport sector and so on.

Our project is under the transport sector which is considered a major sector of our economy as we cannot do without transportation.

Lion Taxi application can be made better by incorporating the following features: Making it possible for users to view drivers location at any

point in time as driver approach their pickup location. Ability to share taxi with a friend along the same route Customers making payment with their credit cards Ability to view drivers profile and send it as email or SMS to

family member for security Ability to calculate cost based on the distance covered
