SURGICAL PROTOCOL• Expose the crest of the bone through incision of soft tissue with
gingiva scalpel, according to anatomical characteristics.• Begin with a 2.00mm-diameter spade drill through the cortical
bone and then some millimeters into the medullary tissue. Confirm previous diagnosis on bone density.
• Proceed with the usual sequence increasing gradually the drill diameters until the required diameters are reached. The diameter of the drills used varies according to bone density as per the information on the following table.
• Drills must reach a depth corresponding to the measures shown in the following table.
Position the implant over bone crest using manual tip or tip for implant mount driver. First, hand tighten it, then tighten using the Open end wrench or the Ratchet wrench or with the implant mount driver at low speed. Introduce implant by self-tapping, to the correct position. Whether the surgery is performed in one or two stages, use submerged or semi-submerged technique.
• Suture gingival tissue.• In the case of immediate loading, the prosthetic attachments is
threaded on the implant chosen.• The provisional resin prostheses must be placed in sub occlusion
without any side contact.• Cement provisional prostheses with permanent cement and avoid
removing them during the osseointegration process. For bruxer patients, make a miorelaxation plate (or bite plate).
• Once the required osseointegration time has passed (around two months), remove the provisional prosthesis. Permanent prostheses are prepared using usual methods and materials of choice.

iHex2TM and 2+ Main characteristicsThe Internal Hex implant tapered design renders an excellent primary stability for all types of bones. Its geometry includes groovy microturns in the coronal portion which contribute to avoid bone loss. It is recommended for post-removal surgeries and aesthetic cases.
The implant is divided into three segments:

• Intraosseous segment (a) The diameter of the tip gradually narrows, ending in a semi-sharp end for easy insertion of the implant.
• Conical mid-segment (b) 2mm in height with microturns. Treated surface for better positioning of the epithelial attachment and the biological width.
• Internal connection segment (c)Implant connection with compatible internal hexagon.
