Impacts
Impacts are the changes that come about as a result of your research. These might include cultural, economic, environmental, or other types of impactsExamples include: ➢ Changes to public policy, legislation, regulations, or guidelines ➢ Change in health services or patient outcomes ➢ Change in education curriculum and/or student outcomes
Create an Impact record• Click on the plus sign [+] on the Impacts tab• Fill in the required fields in the template• Attach Impact Evidence and relate the Impact to relevant content• Click Save

Relating Content in Pure
Simply one of the best features of Pure!
Relate your publications to funding, impacts, activities or any other content in Pure• Go to the Relations section• Click on the plus sign [+] button to relate your associated content
Create a CV
• Click on the Curriculum Vitae tab on the left-hand side of your overview page
Email, Message and Task Settings
• Click on the downward arrow on the right-hand side of your username at the top of your overview page
• Set-up your Pure emails, tasks and messages to alert and remind you of your tasks in Pure
• Choose the type of CV you wish to create (generally Public or Private)• Choose the content you wish to display in your CV• Click Create• To edit, hover over different sections with your mouse, and select ‘Edit’. Remember to Save your changes!• Download as either Word or PDF

Automatically harvest publications• Turn on Automated search in your profile
Ethics Applications
Create an Ethics Application• Click on the plus sign [+] on the Ethical Reviews tab on the left-hand side of your overview page and choose the relevant template
Applications and Awards (Funding)
Pure tracks funding applications and is used to obtain approval from faculty and the University prior to submission to the funder.
The types of funding applications managed inPure include:
GrantApplication for a competitive research grant from a funder
• Fill in the required fields in the template• Add the HREA .zip file that contains your full application, associated documents and the HREA omni file (computer readable file)• Choose the status ‘Entry in Progress’• Click Save• Your entry will now progress to faculty level for approval
• You will be alerted of new publications via email• Accept or Reject publications
Manually enter publications• Click on the plus sign [+] next to Research Output on the left-hand side, select the appropriate template and fill in the required information
Validation• After you have input your publications, the Scholarly Publications team check and validate the data
Open Access Publications and Datasets in PureThe Open Access icon on the Pure Portal indicates that a research publication or dataset is openly available to readers and researchers worldwide
Open Access research outputs in Pure are often accompanied by a Creative Commons license which enables free legal sharing and reuse according to the terms of the license

Application
Researcher Profile
• Click on the Personal tab at the top of the page• Click Edit profile
• Save time inputting publications by turning on the Automated search• Click on Portal profile in the left-hand menu to choose which content you would like displayed on the Research Portal• Add: ✓ Name variants (publishing name, known as name) ✓ Scopus ID and ORCID ID ✓ Professional quality photo (head shot) ✓ External positions ✓ Education and qualifications ✓ Field of Research codes ✓ Social media links

Activities
Activities are research-related activities, such as public engagement, peer-review, mentoring or attending a conference
Create an Activity• Click on the plus [+] on the Activities tab
• Choose the type of template most relevant to your research activity• Attach any required documentation (see 'Entering Activities in Pure' at www.bond.edu.au/pure)• Choose ‘For Approval’ in the workflow and click Save. The record will automatically move to the Research Office for approval
Tip: Don’t forget to upload evidence of the
activity as a PDF document
