Site Survey
1. Instructions
The Field Engineer or Sales Representative must schedule a preliminary Site Survey visit in
accordance with local branch operating procedures.
Conduct the survey in cooperation with the customers biomedical or maintenance engineer. You
must define acceptance or reection of each re!uirement listed in the Site Survey form by
chec"ing Acceptedor Rejectedin the #reliminary $isit section.
%escribe the reason for the reection of any parameter& and inform the customer of allunacceptable parameters and the reasons for reection.
'f any parameters are mar"ed Rejectedduring a preliminary site visit& a final visit must be made
to ensure that all unacceptable conditions have been satisfied. Time must be allowed for
corrective action to be ta"en before the final visit. 'f& after the final site survey visit& there are still
unacceptable conditions& notify the customer and Service (anager.
The Service (anager should notify the customer that specific system installation re!uirements
have not been met and that delivery of the system may be delayed if all the site problems are not
resolved before the scheduled installation date.
