WINTER WEATHER POLICIES With winter weather soon to be upon us, it’s important to know if the parish is open or closed. If Winchendon schools are closed, all parish activities are cancelled. This means that Holy Mass, religious education classes, adult faith formation sessions, meetings etc., are also cancelled and the parish office is closed. If there is a delay in the opening of school, Holy Mass will still be celebrated, but please use your best judgement in traveling to the parish. This policy applies to snow storms that happen during the week. Weekend Masses are typically not cancelled. In the even of a weekday snowstorm and Mass is cancelled, the intention for that day will be transferred to the next time Holy Mass is celebrated.
MASSES FOR CHRISTMAS Masses for Christmas are Saturday, December 24 at 5:00PM with our Children’s Pageant. The Christmas Cantata performed by our Parish Choirs, begins at 4:00 PM Mass at Midnight, with Christmas Carols beginning at 11:30 PM. On Christmas day at 10:00 AM. Please make note of the change in Mass times for Christmas.
EMPTY MANGER CAROLNG On Saturday, December 10 at 12:00 noon, there will be empty manger caroling across from the Planned Parenthood office. Please join us as we carol to make known the humanity of the children, born and unborn, who have been lost to us due to violence. Song, prayer and hot beverages. If you have any questions, please contact Joyce Aucoin at [email protected].
CALLING ALL CHILDREN We are preparing for our Annual Christmas Pageant at the 5:00 PM Mass. Would your little one be interested in participating?
