SACRAMENT OF RECONCILIATION Saturdays: 11:00 a.m.
Anytime by calling the parish office for an appointment.
BAPTISMS: Presenting a child for Baptism is a serious
obligation and requires a faith commitment on the part of the parents
and godparents. This commitment is exemplified by being a practicing,
active Catholic. Parents are obligated to attend a preparation session
before a child’s baptism if they have not attended one in the past
five years. Sessions are held at 1:15 p.m. on second Sundays of
January, March, May, July, September and November, in the Parish
Activity Center. Baptisms are at 1:15 p.m. on the third Sunday of
each month.
WEDDINGS: Please phone the parish office to set-up an
appointment with a priest, in order to begin the sacramental
preparation. Only after this initial meeting and assessment can a date
be set for the wedding. The process requires at least 6 months.
COUNSELING SERVICES: Offered by Bob Skipper at
Spiritual Center of Maria Stein 1-937-299-9005.
NEW PARISHIONERS ARE WELCOME Please come to the parish office to register. If you have a change of
address, phone number or email, please inform the parish office.

ELEVENTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME, JUNE 17, 2018
This weekend we welcome the Marianist
Community for our annual Mission Appeal. The
Marianists have been serving the poorest of the
poor in India and Eastern Africa for decades.
Through education, job training and empowerment
programs, they help people lift themselves out of
desperate poverty and into lives of hope. Each
year, they serve more than 12,000 people —
mostly children and women — through Partnering
with the Poor programs. There will be a second
collection after communion for their efforts. Your
generosity is appreciated.
Happy Father’s Day!! A father is a man who loves without cost to
his children and tries to raise them to be fully
human creatures with the abilities to make a
difference in our world. Some fathers are
successful, some are not. However, almost all try
their best. This Father's Day, let your dad know
that you appreciate all his efforts.
Strength--Your strength in helping me to
tell right from wrong was a great gift.
Honor--You taught me that to honor myself
was a way to honor the God who made me.
Faith--Thanks Dad for having faith in me,
when I was not sure I had faith in myself.
Love--You loved me even when I did not
love myself. For that I am grateful.
Office Closed
Please note that the Parish Office will be
closed Wednesday, June 20, 2018 for our annual
Staff Retreat Day. We are grateful for our
dedicated and faith filled staff and welcome this
opportunity to be renewed.
Festival Meeting There will be a Festival meeting on
Thursday, June 21 at 7:00 p.m. in the PAC, Room
103. This meeting is for current and past booth
chairmen, steering committee members, and
festival grounds folks. One of the topics to be
discussed will be 2019 festival scheduling.
Legacies and bequests help continue the
faith. Please remember Immaculate Conception
Parish in your will and expressions of sympathy.

Please drop off clean, new or gently used
stuffed animals to the parish office for the
I.C. Festival Children’s Tent. Small toys
from Kid’s Meals etc. are also greatly
appreciated. If you would like to work in
the Children’s Tent, please call Karen 419-
586-7675.
Auction Items & Help
We are now accepting items for our festival
auction: new and/or clean, quality used items in
working order! Items may be dropped off in the breeze
way (between the parish office & garage). Please, NO
computers, artificial Christmas trees, white goods,
console stereos or TVs, entertainment centers, or used
building materials.
On Wednesday nights June 27, July 11 and 18,
from 6:30–8:00 p.m., we will be at the school to help you
unload items or are available to pick up large items!!
Call the Parish Office at 419-586-6648 to schedule pick
ups. We would appreciate any help with sorting,
moving and testing items (great for those needing
service hours), and we could use occasional help with
picking up items. Please call Jeff Schott, 419-305-9203,
or Lisa Schott, 419-234-5748, to help.
Items Needed Keep in mind the summer Parish Garage
Sale. Good sellers are kitchenware, linens (please
mark for size), toys, bake ware, decorator items,
tools, sporting goods etc.
We do not accept clothing, personal care
items, hardback books, Christmas trees, bowling
balls, computer related equipment or out-dated
electronics. We will be collecting on June 20, 27 and
July 11. We will accept items at the Parish Activity
Center from 6:30-8:00 p.m. As always, we need lots of
help on those dates.
Last Minute Gift Cards For Father’s Day If you need a last minute gift for Dad, he
would be so excited to get a gift card for Father’s
Day, especially to Ace Hardware, Menard’s,
Dunham’s, Family Video etc. Perhaps you would
rather choose the gift for him, so you could purchase
Amazon, American Eagle, GAP/Old Navy/Banana
Republic, JC Penney, Kohl’s, Macy’s, Marshalls, or
Walmart, and use it to buy his gift. If you like to
take Dad out to eat, purchase a gift card for a local or
Lima area restaurant that is Dad’s favorite. We
have lots of gift cards in stock for immediate
purchase in the vestibule of the Church after all
weekend Masses.
Save Money On Gas With gas prices on the rise, Walmart is a
great place to buy gas – you get 3 cents off a gallon
when you use a Walmart gift card! It has to be a
physical card though, not a paper one. Of course, we
always keep those cards in stock for $25, $50, or
$100, and they are available at the rectory during
the week, or in the vestibule of the church after all
weekend Masses. $250 cards are able to be ordered.
Save NOW!!!
Parish Landscaping Thank You! A big thanks to Zuma Automotive Repair for
use of their tractor and to parishioners who helped in
spreading mulch throughout the grounds!
Bulletin articles for the July 8 bulletin must be
submitted in writing by 9:00 a.m. on Friday, June 29.
