SPECIAL PRAYERS ORACIONES ESPECIALES
Celebramos hoy, con toda la Iglesia la fiesta de la Ascensión del Señor. La ascensión es un misterio. Significa la glorificación, la exaltación de Cristo, su “ascensión” en influencia y poder. Por otra parte, la ascensión no es la partida de Cristo. Si así fuera, estaría en contra de toda nuestra fe en la presencia real de Él, en su promesa de que “estaría con nosotros todos los días, hasta el fin del mundo” (Mt 28,20). La Ascensión no es más que una desaparición: Cristo se ha he-cho invisible, pero sin dejar de estar presente. Está incluso más pre-sente que nunca, ya que la ascensión es una intensificación de su pre-sencia, una extensión de la acción de Cristo a todos los tiempos y a todos los lugares.
El Señor no se ha marchado, está con nosotros para siempre. A veces lo dejamos de ver, pero Él no nos abandona jamás. Así entendemos también por qué les dice a sus apóstoles: “les conviene que yo me vaya”. La Ascensión les resultó a la larga suma-mente beneficiosa. Fue a partir de la Ascensión cuando empezaron a levantar sus miradas hacia la divinidad del Señor.
We celebrate today, with the whole Church, the feast of the Ascension of the Lord. The ascension is a mystery. It means the glo-rification, the exaltation of Christ, his ascension ?? in influence and power. On the other hand, the ascension is not the departure of Christ. If so, it would be against all our faith in the real presence of Him, in His promise that He would be with us every day, until the end of the world ?? (Mt 28,20). The Ascension is nothing more than a disappearance: Christ has become invisible, but still present. He is even more present than ever, since the ascension is an intensification of his presence, an ex-tension of the action of Christ to all times and to all places.
The Lord has not left, he is with us forever. Sometimes we stop seeing it, but He never abandons us. So we also understand why he says to his apostles: "It suits you that I go?". The Ascension proved to be extremely beneficial in the long run. It was from the Ascension that they began to raise their eyes towards the divinity of the Lord.

Bible Summer Class for Children & Youth-Clase Bíblica
de Verano para Niños y Jóvenes
Parents are invited to register their children for Bible classes in
the summer. The registrations will be open all the month of June
and the first week of July of the present year. Last year, 90 chil-
dren and 40 young people participated. We hope this year will
increase attendance.

you are planning to celebrate your quinceañera somewhere else you must be registered and complete the requirements to receive a permission
