ith the world growing smaller and
emergence of new markets, opportunities Wand challenges have become diverse and
varied for global business. No single organisational
model appears to be the best for all companies
struggling to succeed in this highly volatile and
changing business environment. One important
aspect of global business is business localisation
which is more than merely penetrating local markets.
Enterprises across the globe are over challenged with
fast-moving technologies, rapid global expansion,
shifting business models, mergers and acquisitions.
All these not only create huge business opportunities
but also pose serious threats simultaneously. Meeting
the expectations of the empowered users, while
coping with the growing technological complexity and
compliance issues associated with them has further
made the job tougher for the perplexed business
leaders trying hard to maintain the tempo of growth.
This invariably calls for the business leaders to
evolve effective strategy to discern future
possibilities to provide a roadmap for converting
them into profitable business opportunities. It is not
predicting the future, but creating the future by taking
a holistic view of the emerging opportunities and
threats through developing sustainable business
models in a highly complex and turbulent business
environment.
The 5th International Management Convention,
2016 offers an encouraging platform to
academicians, research scholars, industry
practitioners and students to have brain storming on
such issues and draw a wider perspective to cope
with future challenges in the multidimensional global
business world.
