Wedding Tips from Imago Relationships

Planning for the Big Day can be stressful. Here are a few tips from our experienced couples therapists:

You are your partner’s advocate and advocates 1.

don’t criticize or blame.

You’ll be dealing with each other’s families 2.

for the rest of your lives together, so take a moment to ask yourself: “Am I treating my partner’s family the way I’d want my partner to treat mine?”

Couples can get themselves deeply in debt 3.

paying for a wedding and then spend years digging themselves out. Develop a realistic budget and stick to it. You don’t want to start your marriage off in debt.

So you have an annoying, over-involved 4.
