Background information

• Imagine Dragons are a Las Vegas-based

American alternative rock band.

• They gained exposure after the release of their

debut studio album, Night Visions, in

September 2012, however have been a band

since 2008.

• The current members of the band are Dan

Reynolds (lead singer) Ben Mckee, Wayne

Sermon and Dan Platzman, although there has

been previous members before the band was

globally exposed.

Genre’s of music

• Alternative rock- music from underground rock

artists that receive mainstream recognition, or

for any music, whether rock or not, that is seen

to be descended from punk rock

• Indie rock/indie pop- Both of these have

developed from alternative rock with indie rock

being quite similar. Indie pop is more melodic
