Priorities in OSH

the health of workers is an essential prerequisite for

postgraduate but also to basic training for health
professionals in various fields such as promotion of
workers’ health and the prevention and treatment of
workers’ health problems. This should be a particular
priority in primary health care.”

ICOH SCETOH SYMPOSIUM
At the end of the master programme, participants will be able to:
organize the efforts of an enterprise to improve its OSH;
formulate, implement and evaluate a safety and health management system for an enterprise, incorporating essential OSH concepts and
fundamental techniques of OSH management;
manage the resources to conduct all prevention activities are required in an OSH management system;
advise employers and workers on OSH technical requirements.

Participant’s requirements
Designed for hygienists, physicians, chemists, engineers, inspectors,
practitioners and officers with a university degree but without previous
specialization in OSH (18-35 participants).
- hold a first university degree (BA) of minimum three years duration;
- a working knowledge of spoken and written English;
- the ability and access to use computers and Internet.

Methodology
- Blended delivery (Internet-based distance learning + face-to-face
sessions + applied research work).
- Learning is experiential and results-based.
- Methods are participatory, application-oriented, and make extensive
use of information and communication technology.
