Transatlantic Agency represents these fine picture book writers:

Paulette Bourgeois is the author of the Franklin the Turtle series (Kids Can Press), which has sold 60 million copies worldwide and been translated into 38 languages, and several award-winning stand-alone picture books.

Mary Casanova is a past winner of an ALA Notable award, a Parents' Choice Gold award, and a Booklist Editor's Choice award. She has published eight picture books with Simon & Schuster and FSG, including most recently One-Dog Sleigh.

Cary Fagan is the author of ten picture books, including Mr. Zinger’s Hat, which won the Marilyn Baillie Picture Book Award, the IODE Jean Throop Award, and was shortlisted for the Blue Spruce Award.

Erin Falligant has created five Angelina Ballerina picture and activity books and two Hopscotch Hill School activity books for American Girl publishing.

Maureen Fergus’s picture book, The Day My Mom Came to Kindergarten, (Kids Can Press) is the 2015 winner of the prestigious Canadian Blue Spruce Award. She publishes three other books with Penguin Random House, Groundwood, and Owlkids, including the acclaimed Buddy and Earl books.

Rita Gray’s books The Wild Little Horse and Easy Street have sold over a million copies as Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library choices. Rita has published seven picture books with Dutton, Hyperion, Charlesbridge, and most recently The Flowers Are Calling with HMHCo.

Amber Keyser is published by Carolrhoda and Twenty-First Century Books. She writes both fiction and nonfiction picture books and teamed with Friends of Algonquin Park press for An Algonquin Heart Song: Paddle My Own Canoe.

Patricia Lakin is an award-winning author of more than 40 children’s books, including, most recently, Bruno and Lulu’s Playground Adventures with Dial Books for Young Readers. Her awards include an IRA/CBC Best Book, a CBC Outstanding Social Studies Trade Book, an ALA Amelia Bloomer Project Selection, and a Bank Street Children’s Book Committee Best Book.

Andrew Larsen is the 2014 winner of the Canadian Children's Literature Fan Choice Award for In the Tree House. He has published seven books with Kids Can Press, Fitzhenry & Whiteside, Owlkids Press, and Lorimer Press. He most recently published See You Next Year with Owlkids Press. His other awards include Book of the Year 2013: Books for Young People from Quill & Quire, the 2014 Blue Spruce Shortlist, and a USBBY Outstanding International Book Honor.

Stephanie Shaw has published four picture books with Sleeping Bear Press and Tiger Tales, most recently Under the Sleepy Stars, with three new titles coming next year.

Debora Pearson has been published by Holiday House in the US, Annick Press in Canada, and Dorling Kindersley in the UK. Whether she is calling up the excitement of trucks for toddlers or introducing older readers to exotic people and places, Debora’s writing captures the images and ideas that matter most to kids.
