“Wanderer above the Sea of Fog”
By Caspar David Friedrich
My voice
Within this restless, hurried, modern world
We took our hearts' full pleasure--You and I,
And now the white sails of our ship are furled,
And spent the lading of our argosy.
Wherefore my cheeks before their time are wan,
For very weeping is my gladness fled,
Sorrow has paled my young mouth's vermilion,
And Ruin draws the curtains of my bed.
But all this crowded life has been to thee
No more than lyre, or lute, or subtle spell
Of viols, or the music of the sea
That sleeps, a mimic echo, in the shell.
Oscar Wilde

When you are old
When you are old and grey and full of sleep
and nodding by the fire, take down this book,
and slowly read, and dream of the soft look
your eyes had once, and of their shadows deep;
how many loved your moments of glace grace,
and loved your beauty with love false or true,
but one man loved the pilgrim Soul in you,
and loved the sorrows of your changing face;
and bending down beside the glowing bars,
murmur, a little sadly, how love fled
and paced upon the mountains overhead
and hid his face amid a crowd of stars.

Romance Romance, who loves to nod and sing,
With drowsy head and folded wing,
Among the green leaves as they shake
Far down within some shadowy lake,
To me a painted paroquet
Hath been a most familiar bird
Taught me my alphabet to say
To lisp my very earliest word
While in the wild wood I did lie,
A child with a most knowing eye.
Of late, eternal Condor years
So shake the very Heaven on high
With tumult as they thunder by,
I have no time for idle cares
Through gazing on the unquiet sky.
And when an hour with calmer wings
Its down upon my spirit flings
That little time with lyre and rhyme
To while away forbidden things!
My heart would feel to be a crime
Unless it trembled with the strings.

Shall I Compare Thee To A Summer's Day?
Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate:
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer's lease hath all too short a date:
Sometimes too hot the eye of heaven shines,
And often is his gold complexion dimmed;
And every fair from fair sometimes declines,
By chance or nature's changing course untrimmed;
But thy eternal summer shall not fade,
Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow'st;
Nor shall death brag thou wander'st in his shade,
When in eternal lines to time thou grow'st:
So long as men can breathe, or eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.
William Shakespeare

Last Night I Dreamed of Chickens
Last night I dreamed of chickens,
there were chickens everywhere,
they were standing on my stomach,
they were nesting in my hair,
they were pecking at my pillow,
they were hopping on my head,
they were ruffling up their feathers
as they raced about my bed.
They were on the chairs and tables,
they were on the chandeliers,
they were roosting in my ears,
there were chickens, chickens, chickens
for as far as, I noticed
there were eggs on top of me.

Thistles
Against the rubber tongues of cows and the hoeing hands of men
Thistles spike the summer air
And crackle open under a blue-black pressure.
Every one a revengeful burst
Of resurrection, a grasped fistful
Of splintered weapons and Icelandic frost thrust up
From the underground stain of a decayed Viking.
They are like pale hair and the gutturals of dialects.
Everyone manages a plume of blood.
Then they grow grey like men.
Mown down, it is a feud. Their sons appear
Stiff with weapons, fighting back over the same ground.

My mistress eyes are nothing like the sun
My mistress' eyes are nothing like the sun;
Coral is far more red than her lips' red;
If snow be white, why then her breasts are dun;
If hairs be wires, black wires grow on her head.
I have seen roses damasked, red and white,
But no such roses see I in her cheeks;
And in some perfumes is there more delight
Than in the breath that from my mistress reeks.
I love to hear her speak, yet well I know
That music hath a far more pleasing sound;
I grant I never saw a goddess go;
My mistress when she walks treads on the ground.
And yet, by heaven, I think my love as rare
As any she belied with false compare.

WIND This house has been far out at sea all night,
the woods crashing through darkness, the booming hills,
winds stampeding the fields under the window
loundering black astride and blinding wet.
Till day rose; then under an orange sky
the hills had new places, and wind wielded
blade-light, luminous black and emerald,
flexing like the lens of a mad eye.
At noon I scaled along the house-side as far as
the coalhouse door. Once I looked up --
through the brunt wind that dented the balls of my eyes
the tent of the hills drummed and strained its guyrope,
http://illustration2012.blogspot.com.es/ Alejandro Martínez
The fields quivering, the skyline a grimace,
at any second to bang and vanish with a flap;
the wind flung a magpie away and a black-
back gull bent like an iron bar slowly. The house
rang like some fine green goblet in the note
that any second would shatter it. Now deep
in chairs, in front of the great fire, we grip
our hearts and cannot entertain book, thought,
or each other. We watch the fire blazing,
and feel the roots of the house move, but sit on,
seeing the window tremble to come in,
hearing the stones cry out under the horizons.

Eyes Wide Open
With our eyes wide open we...
So this is the end of the story
Everything we had, everything we did
Is buried in dust
And this dust is all that's left of us
And only a few ever worried
While the signs were clear
They had no idea
You just get used to living in fear
Or give up
When you can't even picture your future
We walk the plank with our eyes wide open
We walk the plank with our eyes wide open we
Yeah we walk the plank with our eyes wide open we
Some people offered up answers (questions)
We made out like we heard
They were only words
They didn't add up
To a change in the way we were living
And the saddest thing
Is all of it could have been avoided
But it was like to stop consuming's to stop being human
And why'd I make a change if you won't?
We're all in the same boat
Staying afloat for the moment
We walk the plank with our eyes wide open
And we walk the plank with our eyes wide open we
With our eyes wide open we
We walk the plank, we walk the plank
So that is the end of the story...

Alone
From childhood's hour I have not been
As others were; I have not seen
As others saw; I could not bring
My passions from a common spring.
From the same source I have not taken
My sorrow; I could not awaken
My heart to joy at the same tone;
And all I loved, I loved alone.
Then- in my childhood, in the dawn
Of a most stormy life- was drawn
From every depth of good and ill
The mystery which binds me still:
From the torrent, or the fountain,
From the red cliff of the mountain,
From the sun that round me rolled
In its autumn tint of gold,
From the lightning in the sky
As it passed me flying by,
From the thunder and the storm,
And the cloud that took the form
(When the rest of Heaven was blue)
Of a demon in my view.

If you forget me
I want you to know
one thing.
You know how this is:
if I look
at the crystal moon, at the red branch
of the slow autumn at my window,
if I touch
near the fire
the impalpable ash
or the wrinkled body of the log,
everything carries me to you,
as if everything that exists,
aromas, light, metals,
were little boats
that sail
oward those isles of yours that wait for me.
Well, now,
if little by little you stop loving me
I shall stop loving you little by little.
If suddenly
you forget me
do not look for me,
for I shall already have forgotten you.
If you think it long and mad,
the wind of banners
that passes through my life,
and you decide
to leave me at the shore
of the heart where I have roots,
remember
that on that day,
at that hour,
I shall lift my arms
and my roots will set off
to seek another land.

Comunism I was a communist throughout.
Justly though, the other communists
looked askance at me. I was a communist
despite their certainties, despite my doubts.
Justly they did not see themselves in me. .
They would not admit my discipline.
My centralism seemed anarchy to them.
My self-criticisms contradicted theirs.
Special communists cannot be:
to think so is not to be so. .
Justly they did not see themselves in me,
my comrades. Like them, I too
was enslaved. Even more so: I tended to forget it.
They did their work, I followed my inclination.
Exactly that: I was a communist throughout. .
Despite their certainties, despite my doubts
I always wanted this world ended.
Myself ended too. And it was that exactly
which estranged us. My hopes had no point for them.
My centralism seemed anarchy to them.
As if I wanted more, more truth,
more for me to give them, more
for them to give me. Thus living, dying thus.
I was a communist throughout.
I always wanted this world ended.
I have survived enough to see
comrades who bruised me broken by intolerable truths.
Now tell me: you knew very well I was with you?
Was that why you hated me? My truth is truly needed,
breathed in through space and time, heard patiently.

As I Grew Older
It was a long time ago.
I have almost forgotten my dream
But it was there then,
In front of me,
Bright like a sun
My dream.
And then the wall rose,
Rose slowly,
Slowly,
Between me and my dream.
Rose until it touched the sky
The wall.
Shadow.
I am black.
I lie down in the shadow.
No longer the light of my dream before me,
Above me.
Only the thick wall.
Only the shadow.
My hands!
My dark hands!
Break through the wall!
Find my dream!
Help me to shatter this darkness,
To smash this night,
To break this shadow
Into a thousand lights of sun,
Into a thousand whirling dreams
Of sun!

Smile
Smile thought your heart is aching
Smile even thought it's breaking
When there are clouds in the sky you'll get by
If you smile through your pain and sorrow
Smile and maybe tomorrow
You'll see the sun come shining thru for you.
Light up your face with gladness
Hide every trace of sadness
Althought a tear maybe ever so near
That's the time you must keep on trying
Smile, what's the use of crying?
You'll find that life is still worthwhile
If you'll just smile.
Ooohhhh, oohhhhh
That's the time you must keep on trying
Smile, what's the use of crying?
You'll find that life is still worthwhile
If you'll just smile.
Smile thought your heart is aching
Smile even thought it's breaking
When there are clouds in the sky you'll get by
That's the time you must keep on trying
Smile, what's the use of crying?
You'll find that life is still worthwhile
If you'll just smile.
You'll find that life is still worthwhile
If you'll just smile.
Smile…

Cinderella
I guess you think you know this story.
You don't. The real one's much more gory.
The phoney one, the one you know,
was cooked up years and years ago,
and made to sound all soft and sappy
just to keep the children happy.
Mind you, they got the first bit right,
the bit where, in the dead of night,
the Ugly Sisters, jewels and all,
departed for the Palace Ball,
while darling little Cinderella
was locked up in a slimy cellar,
where rats who wanted things to eat,
began to nibble at her feet.
She bellowed 'Help!' and 'Let me out!
The Magic Fairy heard her shout.
Appearing in a blaze of light,
she said: 'My dear, are you all right?'
'All right?' cried Cindy .'Can't you see
'I feel as rotten as can be!'
She beat her fist against the wall,
and shouted, 'Get me to the Ball!
'There is a Disco at the Palace!
'The rest have gone and I am jealous!
'I want a dress! I want a coach!
'And earrings and a diamond brooch!
'And silver slippers, two of those!
'And lovely nylon panty hose!
'Done up like that I'll guarantee
'The handsome Prince will fall for me!'
The Fairy said, 'Hang on a tick.'
She gave her wand a mighty flick
and quickly, in no time at all,
Cindy was at the Palace Ball!
It made the Ugly Sisters wince
to see her dancing with the Prince.
She held him very tight and pressed
herself against his manly chest.
The Prince himself was turned to pulp,
all he could do was gasp and gulp.
Then midnight struck. She shouted,'Heck!
I've got to run to save my neck!'
The Prince cried, 'No! Alas! Alack!'
He grabbed her dress to hold her back.
As Cindy shouted, 'Let me go!'
The dress was ripped from head to toe.
She ran out in her underwear,
and lost one slipper on the stair.
The Prince was on it like a dart,
he pressed it to his pounding heart,
'The girl this slipper fits,' he cried,
'Tomorrow morn shall be my bride!
I'll visit every house in town
'Until I've tracked the maiden down!'
Then rather carelessly, I fear,
he placed it on a crate of beer.
At once, one of the Ugly Sisters,
(The one whose face was blotched with blisters)
Sneaked up and grabbed the dainty shoe,
and quickly flushed it down the loo.
Then in its place she calmly put
the slipper from her own left foot.
Ah ha, you see, the plot grows thicker,
cnd Cindy's luck starts looking sicker.
Next day, the Prince went charging down
to knock on all the doors in town.
In every house, the tension grew.
Who was the owner of the shoe?
The shoe was long and very wide.
(A normal foot got lost inside.)
Also it smelled a wee bit icky.
(The owner's feet were hot and sticky.)
Thousands of eager people came
to try it on, but all in vain.
Now came the Ugly Sisters' go.
One tried it on. The Prince screamed, 'No!'
But she screamed, 'Yes! It fits! Whoopee!
'So now you've got to marry me!'
The Prince went white from ear to ear.
He muttered, 'Let me out of here.'
'Oh no you don't! You made a vow!
'There's no way you can back out now!'
'Off with her head!'The Prince roared back.
They chopped it off with one big whack.
This pleased the Prince. He smiled and said,
'She's prettier without her head.'
Then up came Sister Number Two,
who yelled, 'Now I will try the shoe!'
'Try this instead!' the Prince yelled back.
He swung his trusty sword and smack
her head went crashing to the ground.
It bounced a bit and rolled around.
In the kitchen, peeling spuds,
Cinderella heard the thuds
of bouncing heads upon the floor,
And poked her own head round the door.
'What's all the racket? 'Cindy cried.
'Mind your own bizz,' the Prince replied.
Poor Cindy's heart was torn to shreds.
My Prince! she thought. He chops off heads!
How could I marry anyone
Who does that sort of thing for fun?
The Prince cried, 'Who's this dirty slut?
'Off with her nut! Off with her nut!'
Just then, all in a blaze of light,
The Magic Fairy hove in sight,
Her Magic Wand went swoosh and swish!
'Cindy! 'she cried, 'come make a wish!
'Wish anything and have no doubt
'That I will make it come about!'
Cindy answered, 'Oh kind Fairy,
'This time I shall be more wary.
'No more Princes, no more money.
'I have had my taste of honey.
I'm wishing for a decent man.
'They're hard to find. D'you think you can?'
Within a minute, Cinderella
Was married to a lovely feller,
A simple jam maker by trade,
Who sold good home-made marmalade.
Their house was filled with smiles and laughter
And they were happy ever after.

We are young
Give me a second, I
I need to get my story straight
My friends are in the bathroom
Getting higher than the Empire State
My lover she is waiting for me
Just across the bar,
My seat's been taken by some sunglasses
Asking 'bout a scar
I know I gave it to you months ago
I know you're trying to forget
But between the drinks and subtle things
And the holes in my apologies
You know I'm trying hard to take it back
So if by the time the bar closes
And you feel like falling down
I'll carry you home
Tonight,
We are young
So let's set the world on fire
We can burn brighter
Than the sun
Now I know that I'm not
All that you got
I guess that I,
I just thought,
Maybe we could find new ways to fall apart
But our friends are back
So let's raise the cup
'Cause I found someone to carry me home
Tonight
We are young
So let's the set the world on fire
We can burn brighter
Than the sun
Carry me home tonight
Just carry me home tonight
(The world is on my side, )
Carry me home tonight
(I have no reason to run, )
Just carry me home tonight
(So will someone come and carry me home tonight?)
The angels never arrived,
But I can hear the choir
So will someone come and carry me home
Tonight,
We are young
So let's set the world on fire
We can burn brighter
Than the sun
So if by the time the bar closes
And you feel like falling down
I'll carry you home,
Tonight.

Radioactive
I’m waking up to ash and dust
I wipe my brow and sweat my rust
I’m breathing in the chemicals
I’m breaking in and shaping up
Then checking out on the prison bus
This is it the apocalypse
I’m waking up
I feel it in my bones
Enough to make my systems grow
Welcome to the new age
To the new age
Welcome to the new age
To the new age
I’m radioactive
Radioactive
I’m radioactive
Radioactive
I raise my flag and don my clothes
It’s a revolution I suppose
We’re painted red to fit right in
I’m breaking in and shaping up
Then checking out on the prison bus
This is it the apocalypse
I’m waking up
I feel it in my bones
Enough to make my systems grow
Welcome to the new age
To the new age
Welcome to the new age
To the new age

Deep in my bones
Straight from inside
I’m waking up
I feel it in my bones

Pursuit of happiness
Mmmm ooohh... hey... Ratata... yeah... nah nah nah... nah nah nah
Crush a bit, little bit, Roll it up, take a hit, Feeling lit,
feeling right, 2am, summer night, I don't care,
hand on the wheel, driving drunk I'm doing my thang,
rolling in the mid beside me now, living my life,
getting my dreams, people told me slow my road,
I'm screaming out "fuck that", I'm a do just what I want,
looking ahead no turning back, if I fall if I die,
know I lived it to the fullest, if I fall if I die,
know I lived than missing bullets.
[Chorus:]
I'm on the pursuit of happiness and I know,
everything is shining all is gonna be gold (hey),
I'll be fine once I get it, I'll be gooooooooood. [x2]
Tell me what you know about dreamin (dreamin),
You ain't really know bout nothin (nothin),
tell me what you know about the night terrors every night,
5am cold sweats, waking up to the sky,
Tell me what you know about dreams (dreams),
tell me what you know about night terrors nothin,
you don't really care about the trials of tomorrow,
rather lay awake in the bed full of sorrow.
[Chorus:]
I'm on the pursuit of happiness and I know,
everything is shining all is gonna be gold (hey),
I'll be fine once I get it, I'll be gooooooooood. [x2]
I'm on the pursuit of happiness,
I know everything is shining... always gold,
I'll be fine once I get it, I'll be goood-ood...
[Chorus:]
I'm on the pursuit of happiness and I know,
everything is shining all is gonna be gold (hey),
I'll be fine once I get it, I'll be gooooooooood. [x2]
Pursuit of happiness... yeah... I'm a get it... I'll be...
good... uughh... oh man... oh alright... oh...
room is spinning, room is spinning... Pat... Zule...
where... oh fuck... oooohhh my god why did
I drink so much and smoke so much oooohhhh!

Hiding my heart
So this is how the story went
I met someone by accident
That blew me away
That blew me away
It was in the darkest of my days
When you took my sorrow and you took my pain
and buried them away, you buried them away.
And I wish I could lay down beside you
When the day is done
and wake up to your face under the morning sun
but like everything I´ve ever known.
I´m sure you´ll go one day
so I´ll spend my whole life hiding my heart away.
I dropped you off at the train station
and put a kiss on top of your head
I watched you wave
I watched you wave
Then I went on home to my skyscrapers
neon lights and waiting papers
that I call home
I call it home
And wish I could lay down beside you
when the day is done
and wake up to your face against the morning sun
but like everything I´ve ever known
I´m sure you´ll go one day
so I´ll spend my whole life hiding my heart away.
I woke up feeling heavy hearted
I´m going back to where I started
The morning rain
The morning rain
and you know I wish that you were here
but that same old road that brought me here
Is calling me home
Is calling me home
And I wish I could lay down beside you
When the day is done
and wake up to your face against the morning sun
but like everything I´ve ever known
so I´ll spend my whole life hiding my heart away
and I can´t spend my whole life hiding my heart away.

Starman Goodbye love
Didn't know what time it was the lights were low oh how
I leaned back on my radio oh oh
Some cat was layin down some rock n roll lotta soul, he said
Then the loud sound did seem to fade a ade
Came back like a slow voice on a wave of phase ha hase
That werent no d.j. that was hazy cosmic jive
There's a starman waiting in the sky
Hed like to come and meet us
But he thinks he'd blow our minds
There's a starman waiting in the sky
Hes told us not to blow it
Cause he knows it's all worthwhile
He told me:
Let the children lose it
Let the children use it
Let all the children boogie
I had to phone someone so I picked on you ho ho
Hey, that's far out so you heard him too! o o
Switch on the tv we may pick him up on channel two
Look out your window I can see his light a ight
If we can sparkle he may land tonight a ight
Don't tell your poppa or hell get us locked up in fright
There's a starman waiting in the sky
Hed like to come and meet us
But he thinks he'd blow our minds
There's a starman waiting in the sky
Hes told us not to blow it
Cause he knows it's all worthwhile
He told me:
Let the children lose it
Let the children use it
Let all the children boogie
Starman waiting in the sky
Hed like to come and meet us
But he thinks he'd blow our minds
There's a starman waiting in the sky
Hes told us not to blow it
Cause he knows it's all worthwhile
He told me:
Let the children lose it
Let the children use it
Let all the children boogie

Sweet Child O‟Mine
She's got a smile that it seems to me
Reminds me of childhood memories
Where everything
Was as fresh as the bright blue sky
Now and then when I see her face
She takes me away to that special place
And if I stared too long
I'd probably break down and cry
Sweet child o' mine
Sweet love of mine
She's got eyes of the bluest skies
As if they thought of rain
I hate to look into those eyes
And see an ounce of pain
Her hair reminds me
of a warm safe place
Where as a child I'd hide
And pray for the thunder
And the rain
To quietly pass me by
Sweet child o' mine
Sweet love of mine
Where do we go
Where do we go now
Where do we go
Sweet child o' mine

Yesterday
Yesterday, There was so many things
I was never told
Now that I'm startin' to learn
I feel I'm growing old
'Cause yesterday's got nothin' for me
Old pictures that I'll always see
Some things could be better
In my book of memories
Prayers in my pocket
And no hand in destiny
I'll keep on movin' along
With no time to plant my feet
'Cause yesterday's got nothin' for me
Old pictures that I'll always see
Some things could be better
If we'd all just let them be
Yesterday's got nothin' for me
Yesterday's got nothin' for me
Got nothin' for me
Yesterday, There was so many things
I was never shown
Suddenly this time I found
I'm on the streets and I'm all alone
Yesterday's got nothin' for me
Old pictures that I'll always see
I ain't got time to reminisce old novelties
Yesterday's got nothin' for me
Yesterday's got nothin' for me
Yesterday's got nothin' for me

Maybe this Christmas
It's Christmas time and Santa's here,
Making the children smile
But he's just a pedophile
So you better watch your child.
Christmas trees in every house
Covered in shiny lights
But they just turn brown and die,
Or set your whole house on fire
These are the reasons I hate the seasons, but imma give it a try.
Maybe this year I won’t be sad on Christmas
Maybe I'll have a happy holiday.
Replace my heart ache and my pain,
With mistletoe and candy cane
This Christmas, could go my way.
Having fun with all your friends,
Sippin on that eggnog,
But it just looks like jizz
All over your upper lips.
House made out of ginger bread
Cookies like Christmas trees
Giving ya heart disease
And type 2 diabetes.
These are the reasons I hate the seasons, but imma give it a try.
Maybe this year I won’t be sad on Christmas
Maybe I'll have a happy holiday.
Replace my heart ache and my pain,
With mistletoe and candy cane
This Christmas, could go my way.
I've never seen reindeer fly
I've never heard the sleigh bells ring
I've never seen a snowman come to life
I've never heard the angels sing
But I hope, and I prey
That maybe this Christmas day
That'll change.
Maybe this year I won’t be sad on Christmas
Maybe I'll have a happy holiday.
Replace my heart ache and my pain,
With mistletoe and candy cane
This Christmas, could go my way.
Maybe this year I won’t be sad on Christmas
Maybe I'll have a happy holiday.
Replace my heart ache and my pain,
Let's just dance the night away.
This Christmas, is going my way.
Just Dance with me.

Girl on Fire
She's just a girl, and she's on fire
Hotter than a fantasy, longer like a highway
She's living in a world, and it's on fire
Feeling the catastrophe, but she knows she can fly away
Oh, she got both feet on the ground
And she's burning it down
Oh, she got her head in the clouds
And she's not backing down
This girl is on fire
This girl is on fire
She's walking on fire
This girl is on fire
Looks like a girl, but she's a flame
So bright, she can burn your eyes
Better look the other way
You can try but you'll never forget her name
She's on top of the world
Hottest of the hottest girls say
Oh, we got our feet on the ground
And we're burning it down
Oh, got our head in the clouds
And we're not coming down
This girl is on fire
This girl is on fire
She's walking on fire
This girl is on fire
Everybody stands, as she goes by
Cause they can see the flame that's in her eyes
Watch her when she's lighting up the night
Nobody knows that she's a lonely girl
And it's a lonely world
But she gon' let it burn, baby, burn, baby
This girl is on fire
This girl is on fire
She's walking on fire
This girl is on fire
Oh, oh, oh...
She's just a girl, and she's on fire

Hall of Fame
Yeah, You could be the greatest
You can be the best
You can be the king kong banging on your chest
You could beat the world
You could beat the war
You could talk to God, go banging on his door
You can throw your hands up
You can be the clock
You can move a mountain
You can break rocks
You can be a master
Don't wait for luck
Dedicate yourself and you can find yourself
Standing in the hall of fame
And the world's gonna know your name
Cause you burn with the brightest flame
And the world's gonna know your name
And you'll be on the walls of the hall of fame
You could go the distance
You could run the mile
You could walk straight through hell with a smile
You could be the hero
You could get the gold
Breaking all the records that thought never could be broke
Do it for your people
Do it for your pride
Never gonna know if you never even try
Do it for your country
Do it for you name
Cause there's gonna be a day
When you’re, standing in the hall of fame
And the world's gonna know your name
Cause you burn with the brightest flame
And the world's gonna know your name
And you'll be on the walls of the hall of fame
Be a champion, be a champion, be a champion, be a champion
On the walls of the hall of fame Will I. Am

Billy Brown
Oh Billy Brown had lived an ordinary life.
Two kids, a dog, and a cautionary wife.
While it was all going according to plan
Then Billy Brown fell in love with another man.
He met his lover almost every single day
Making excuses for his dodgy holiday
(Unto religion that he said and duty found
They didn't know his faith was earthly bound)
Brown...Oh Billy Brown.
Don't let the stars get you down.
Don't let the waves let you drown.
Brown...Oh Billy Brown.
Gonna pick you up like a paper cup.
Gonna shake the water out of every nook.
Oh Billy Brown.
Oh Billy Brown needed a place, somewhere to go.
He found an island off the coast of Mexico
Leaving his lover and his family behind.
Oh Billy Brown needed to find some peace of mind.
And on his journey and his travels on the way,
He met a girlie who was brave enough to say,
When they made love he shared the burden of his mind.
Oh Billy Brown you are a victim of the times.
Brown...Oh Billy Brown.
Don't let the stars get you down.
Don't let the waves let you drown.
Brown...Oh Billy Brown.
Gonna pick you up like a paper cup.
Gonna shake the water out of every nook.
Oh Billy Brown.
Brown...Oh Billy Brown.
Gonna pick you up like a paper cup.
Gonna shake the water out of every nook.
Oh Billy Brown.
Oh Billy Brown had lived an ordinary life.
Two kids, a dog, and a cautionary wife.
While it was all going according to plan
Then Billy Brown fell in love with another man.

Die Young
I hear your heart beat to the beat of the drums 11
Oh what a shame that you came here with someone 14
So while you're here in my arms 8
Let’s make the most of the night 8
Like we’re gonna die young 8
We’re gonna die young 6
We’re gonna die young 6
Let’s make the most of the night 8
Like we’re gonna die young 7
Let’s make the most of the night 8
Like we’re gonna die young 7
Hearts out of minds running 6
Till we out of time 6
Wild childs looking good 5
Living hard just like we should 8
Don't care who's watching 6
When we tearing it up 6
-You know- that magic that we got 8
Nobody can touch 5
Looking for some trouble tonight 8
Take my hand, I'll show you the wild side 11
Like it's the last night of our lives 10
We'll keep dancing till we die 8
I hear your heart beat to the beat of the drums 13
Oh what a shame that you came here with someone 13
So while you're here in my arms 10
Let’s make the most of the night 8

We’re gonna die young 8
We’re gonna die young 8
Let’s make the most of the night 8
Like we’re gonna die young 8
Let’s make the most of the night 8
Like we’re gonna die young 8
Punks take your sacks 5
Stripping down your dirty socks 8
Music up getting hot, kiss me 8
Give me all you got 5
It's pretty obvius that you got a crush 10
That magic in your pants is making me blush 11
Looking for some trouble tonight 8
Take my hand, I'll show you the wild side 11
Like it's the last night of our lives 10
We'll keep dancing till we die -Till we die- 11
I hear your heartbeat to the beat of the drums 11
