Rules 1. WHAT ARE THE ISSUES OF THE FESTIVAL? The participants' short films and photos
should cover one of the following issues: a. Primary health care understood as the essential health care accessible to all
individuals and families in the community by means acceptable to them, with their full participation and at an affordable cost to the community.
b. Safe, appropriate and prudent use of medicines understood as the absence of
unnecessary actual or potential harm associated with medicines use.
c. Medicalization of life understood as the process by which events of everyday life are converted into health problems; and from that perspective they are addressed and treated by different health professionals.
2. WHO CAN PARTICIPATE : Anyone over 18 years old.
3. HOW MANY SHORT FILMS or PHOTOS CAN BE SUBMITTED?: Unlimited.
4. WHAT ARE THE CONDITIONS FOR THE SHORT FILMS?
○ The short film should last a maximum of 6 minutes, excluding the official start and end cover titles.
○ Short films with direct or indirect advertising from any sponsor, product or service will be rejected.
○ The first 3 seconds must contain the official competition cover title, and then the title cover, the title and director of the short film. These are downloadable from www.polimedicado.org.

○ The last 3 seconds of the short film must contain closing cover titles, also downloadable from www.polimedicado.org.
5. WHAT LANGUAGE CAN YOU SUBMIT YOUR SHORT FILMS IN?: The short films can be
submitted in any language. In the event that the language is not Spanish or English, subtitles should be inserted in either of these languages. To make it easier for people with impaired hearing, the jury will positively assess the presence of both Spanish and English subtitles.
6. WHAT CONDITIONS MUST BE MET BY CONTENDING PHOTOS?
○ The photographs must be in JPG format. ○ The file must not weigh more than 30 Megabytes and must have a minimum resolution
of 300 dots per inch (dpi). ○ It will be cause for rejection photography direct or indirect advertising of any
commercial, product or service.
7. HOW TO PARTICIPATE?: ○ Just register by filling in the registration form that appears on our website
(http://polimedicado.org/wp-login.php?action=register). If the short has several directors, each of them must register on the platform.
○ The short films and photographs must be submitted to [email protected] (directly for photographs and by www.wetransfer.com for short films) in the mail you must indicate your platform user, the short title, nationality, year and a brief synopsis. For photographs, indicate the user, title, author and year.
8. WHEN IS THE CLOSING DATE?: You can send your work at any point from 15 October 2015
to 30 April 2016. Once the deadline for the receipt of submissions is complete, the system will remain open for two more weeks to allow general audiences to vote. Thereafter, the votes will be counted in order to present the Audience Award, and then the jury will meet to decide the overall winner and runners-up. The awards will be presented in May 2016.
9. AWARDS :
○ First prize € 1500 ○ Second prize € 1000 ○ The Audience Award € 500 ○ Award for Best Photograph € 250 ○ Award for Best Photograph 250 € (Public)
10. JURY : The Jury's decision will be announced at the Closing Award Ceremony to be held in the
month of May 2015. If the Jury feels that the submissions have not been of sufficient quality, prizes may not be awarded. The selection of winners will be at the sole discretion of the jury , and their decision shall be final. The Audience Award will be chosen taking into account the audience generated in a given period and by popular vote, the organization reserves the right to remove those jobs in which

were detected behaviors contrary to fair play and/or fraudulent voting or made by ghost users.
11. LEGAL: The author/s, by taking part in the festival, give/s free and voluntary ownership of the work to the Laboratory for Innovative Practices Polymedication and Health. In any case, these works will be protected under Creative Commons license 3.0 Attribution - NonCommercial - Share Alike (by- nc- sa) .

BASES 1. ¿DE QUÉ VA EL FESTIVAL? Los cortos y las fotografías participantes deberán versar sobre
alguna/as de las siguientes temáticas: ○ Atención primaria de salud entendida como la asistencia sanitaria esencial,
accesible a todos los individuos y familias de la comunidad, a través de medios aceptables para ellos, con su plena participación y a un coste asequible para la comunidad.
○ Uso seguro, adecuado y prudente de los medicamentos entendido como la ausencia de un daño innecesario, real o potencial, asociado al uso de los medicamentos.
○ Medicalización de la vida entendida como el proceso por el que eventos de la vida cotidiana son convertidos en problemas de salud; y desde esa perspectiva son abordados y tratados por diferentes profesionales de la salud.
2. ¿QUIÉNES PUEDEN PARTICIPAR?: Puede participar cualquier persona mayor de 18 años, sea
de la nacionalidad que sea.
3. ¿CUÁNTOS CORTOS o FOTOGRAFÍAS SE PUEDEN PRESENTAR?: El número de cortometrajes o fotografías que se pueden presentar a concurso es ilimitado.
4. ¿QUÉ CONDICIONES DEBEN CUMPLIR LOS CORTOS PRESENTADOS?
○ Los cortos durarán un máximo de 6 minutos sin contar las carátulas oficiales de inicio y final.
○ Será motivo de rechazo del corto la publicidad directa o indirecta de cualquier casa comercial, producto o servicio.
○ Los 3 primeros segundos deben contener la carátula oficial del concurso. Después irá la carátula con el título y director/es del corto, descargables en www.polimedicado.org
○ Los 3 últimos segundos del corto deben contener la carátula de cierre descargable en

5. ¿EN QUÉ IDIOMA SE PUEDE PRESENTAR?: Los cortos podrán presentarse en cualquier idioma. En el caso de que el idioma no sea castellano o inglés, deben insertarse subtítulos en cualquiera de estos dos idiomas. Para facilitar la comprensión a personas con discapacidad auditiva el jurado valorará positivamente la presencia de subtítulos en castellano e inglés.
6. ¿QUÉ CONDICIONES DEBEN CUMPLIR LAS FOTOGRAFÍAS PRESENTADAS?
○ Las fotografías deben tener el formato JPG. ○ El archivo no debe pesar más de 30 Megabytes y debe tener una resolución mínima de
300 puntos por pulgada (ppp). ○ Será motivo de rechazo de la fotografía la publicidad directa o indirecta de cualquier
casa comercial, producto o servicio.
7. ¿CÓMO PARTICIPAR?: ○ Para participar tienes que darte de alta como usuario en nuestra página
(http://polimedicado.org/wp-login.php?action=register). Si el corto tiene varios directores, cada uno de ellos deberá darse de alta en la plataforma.
○ Los envíos los debes realizar al correo [email protected]. (directamente para las fotografías y mediante www.wetransfer.com para los cortos) en el correo debes indicar tu usuario de la plataforma, el título del corto, nacionalidad, año y una breve sinopsis del mismo. Para las fotografías se debe indicar el usuario, título, el autor y año.
8. ¿CUÁL ES EL PLAZO?: Puedes mandar tus trabajos desde el 15 de Octubre de 2015 hasta el 30
de Abril de 2016 a las 24 horas. Una vez finalice el plazo de recepción, el sistema permanecerá abierto dos semanas más para permitir votaciones por parte del público general. Después se procederá al recuento de votos para designar el premio del público y el jurado se reunirá para decidir el premio del jurado y accésit. En caso que el fallo del público coincida con el del jurado, se otorgará como fallo del público al siguiente por orden de votación. Los galardones se entregarán en el mes de Mayo de 2016.
9. PREMIOS:
○ Primer premio 1500 € ○ Accésit 1000 € ○ Premio del público 500 € ○ Premio a la mejor Fotografía 250 € ○ Premio a la mejor Fotografía 250 € (Público)
10. FALLO DEL JURADO: El fallo del jurado se hará público en la ceremonia final de entrega de
los premios que se celebrará en el mes de Mayo de 2016. Si a juicio del Jurado no se hubiesen presentado obras con calidad suficiente, los premios podrían quedar desiertos. La selección de los ganadores será a discreción absoluta del jurado y su fallo será definitivo e inapelable.

El premio del público será elegido teniendo en cuenta la audiencia generada en un determinado periodo y mediante votación popular, la organización se reserva el derecho de eliminar de manera definitiva e inapelable aquellos trabajos en los que se aprecien comportamientos contrarios al juego limpio y/o votaciones fraudulentas o realizadas por usuarios fantasma.
11. LEGAL. El/los autor/es, por el hecho de participar en el festival, cede/n de forma gratuita y
voluntaria la titularidad de la obra al Laboratorio de Prácticas Innovadoras en Polimedicación y Salud. En todo caso, dichas obras quedarán protegidas bajo licencia creative commons 3.0 Reconocimiento-NoComercial-CompartirIgual (by-nc-sa).
