Program Overview The Internaonal Epidemiology and Surveillance Training Program has been conducted annually since 2010. To date, 169 trainees from 15 countries have parcipated in the program. Currently, trainees can receive training programs in epidemiology or animal health disease surveillance. The program provides trainees experience in developing epidemiological and surveillance skills for transboundary, emerging, and zoonoc diseases. Target Audience The program is available for veterinarians, epidemiologists, and other individuals interested in epidemiology and animal health surveillance as it relates to transboundary, emerging, and zoonoc diseases. Program Length Epidemiology training: • 8-12 weeks Conducted in the United States Animal Health Disease Surveillance: • 1-2 weeks Conducted in the United States or in-country Program Details Each module includes learning objecves, PPTS for lecture and note-taking, case studies, exercises, pre- and post- evaluaon instruments, and module evaluaon. Module exercises use stascal soſtware packages for data analysis.
