Instructions before you write exam : 1. Do the proper dimensioning while you are drawing the diagrams. 2. Differentiate the thick and thin lines while you are drawing the diagrams. 3. Before drawing the diagrams do proper planning of the sheet. 4. Mention the arrow heads neatly the dimensional lines. Answer any TWO of the following questions 2x5=10 1) A Line AB of 90mm long,is inclined at 45˚ to HP and its top view makes an angle of 60˚ with xy.The end A is on HP and 12mm infront of VP. Draw its projections and find its inclination with VP. 2) A Circular lamina of 60mm diameter rests on HP on a point 1 on the circumference. The lamina is inclined to HP such that the top view of it is an ellipse of minor axis 35mm. The top view of the diameter through the point 1 makes an angle of 45˚ with VP. Draw the projections. Determine the angle made by the lamina with HP. 3) A Cone 40mm base and axis 50mm long touches the VP on a point of its base circle. The axis is inclined at 30˚ to VP and the front view of the axis is inclined at 45˚ to HP. Draw its projections. 4) A line AB, which is inclined at 30˚ to HP, has its ends A & B, at 26 & 60 infront of VP respectively. The length of the top view is 65 and its VT is 15mm above HP. Draw the projections of the line and locate its HT. 5) A Thin rectangular lamina ABCD of 60mm length and 36mm width is inclined at an angle of 45˚ to VP. Its longer edge is making an angle of 30˚ with HP. Draw the projections by auxiliary plane method.
