TEST ON HOW TO BE HOLY… The most saintly people I have met, is because they examine themselves every day to know if their behavior is in accordance with the plans of God, for which the following questions were asked: 1. When I woke up this morning, did I thank God for giving me the opportunity of a new day and the

gift of 24 hours to execute it the best possible? 2. Was I careful to start the new day with positive thoughts, opti

mistic and looking forward to the opportunity to share my joy with many people?

3. Have I strengthened my faith with prayer and the reading of the Holy Bible and I have set out to revive my faith serving God and my brothers?

4. Have I lived this day with joy, faith and charity with the peo-ple I encountered today? Have I tried to see God in all things?

5. Do I take care to use kind words, as I express my thoughts in conversations with other people? Have I been cordial, even though they have preferred others in my place?

6. Have I lived this day with love and patience in dealing with others and in the things I've done? Have I worked with care and diligence, leaving to one side the laziness and excuses to achieve the best results?

7. Have I made good use of precious time, my intelligence and the opportunities that God has given me on this day to do many good things?

8. Have I kept my heart clean of feelings of hatred, pride, sad-ness, and greed? Have I tried hard to be loving and kind with everyone?

9.What have I done today to take care of the health of my soul and my body? What care have I had today for the souls and bodies of others? 10. Have I selfishly wasted money, things and time in pleasing

myself, when I could have helped people in need and tithed to my Church for God's sake?

11.Have I controlled my tongue, remembering "That the one who talks much, is mistaken much. "He who controls his

tongue is holy. (Santiago, Chapter 2)

12. Has my attitude, behavior and words have honored and glo- rified God? Have I treated my neighbors with respect and appreciation? What is the best thing I did today? (Psalm 139) To be holy you need inner control and enough love to serve God and your fellow men with joy. Grow and share the joy of believ-ing and living.

EXAMEN PARA SER SANTO... Las personas más santas que he conocido, es porque a diario se examinan para saber si su proceder esta de acuerdo con los planes de Dios, para lo cual se hacían las siguientes preguntas: 1. Al despertarme esta mañana, le di gracias a Dios por darme la oportunidad de un nuevo día y el regalo de 24 horas para adminístrala lo mejor posible? 2. Tuve cuidado de comenzar el nuevo día con pensamientos positivos, optimista y deseando tener la oportunidad de compartir mi alegría con mucha gente? 3. He fortalecido mi fe con mis oraciones y la lectura de La Santa Biblia y me he propuesto avivar mi fe sirviendo a Dios en mis hermanos? 4. He vivido este día con alegría, fe y caridad con las personas con las que he encontrado hoy. He procurado ver a Dios en todas las cosas? 5. Me propuse tener cuidado con usar palabras amables, al expresar mis pensamientos en las conversaciones con otras personas? He sido cordial, aunque hayan Preferido a otros en mi lugar? 6. He vivido este día con amor y paciencia en el trato con otros y en las cosas que he realizado.? He trabajado con atención. Diligencia dejando a un lado la pereza y las excusas para lograr los mejores resultados? 7. He aprovechado bien el tiempo precioso, mi inteligencia y las oportunidades que Dios me ha dado en este día para hacer muchas cosas buenas? 8. He mantenido mi corazón limpio de sentimientos de odio, orgullo, tristeza y codicia. Me he esforzado por ser cariñoso y amable con todos? 9. Que he hecho hoy por cuidar la salud de mi alma y de mi cuerpo? Que cuidados he tenido hoy por las almas y cuerpos de los otros? 10.He derrochado egoístamente dinero, cosas y tiempo por agradarme a mi mismo, cuando podía haber ayudado a personas necesitadas y ofrendado a mi Iglesia por amor a Dios? 11.He controlado mi lengua, recordado "Que el que mucho habla, mucho se equivoca". El que controla su lengua es santo. (Santiago, cap. 2) 12.Mis actitudes, comportamiento y palabras han honrado y glorificado a Dios? He tratado con respeto y aprecio a mis prójimos? Que es lo mejor que hice hoy? (Salmo 139 ) Para ser santos se necesita dominio interior y suficiente amor para servir con alegría a Dios y tus semejantes.
