cinema notesAfter the Christmas break Triskel Christchurch is back, not only with an exciting programme of films, but also some changes that we hope our patrons will like. We usually screen films each week from Sunday-Wednesday, but for the chilly winterly months of January and February, cinema will take place from Friday-Monday. So for these post-festive weeks, why not spent a few hours with the magical Beasts Of The Southern Wild, the touching Amour, the powerful The Hunt, or the bonkers Sightseers?
Along with our regular cinema programme, this month, Triskel Christchurch also present several special film events. There is the chance to catch David Lean’s masterpiece Lawrence Of Arabia on the big screen; beautifully restored to its full length, with an intermission to stretch the legs and seek more refreshments. There is also a screening of Don’t Think, a visually and audibly enrapturing concert movie from The Chemical Brothers. We are also delighted to announce Family Screen, a programme of family films which will run at midday on Saturdays during January and February. So all in all there is plenty to choose from!
