ZagrebZagreb, the capital city of the Republic of Croatia is an old C e nt ra l E u ro p e a n c i t y. Fo r centuries it has been a focal point of culture and science, and now of commerce and industry as well. It l i e s o n t h e i nte rs e c t i o n o f important routes between the Adriatic coast and Central Europe. Zagreb is also the hub of the business, academic, cultural, artistic and sporting worlds in Croatia. Many famed scientists, artists and athletes come from the city, or work in it. Zagreb can offer i t s v i s i t o r s t h e B a r o q u e atmosphere of the Upper Town, picturesque open-air markets, diverse shopping facilities, an abundant selection of crafts and a choice vernacular cuisine.
FestivalIFF “Zagreb folk fest” is traditional international folklore festival which is held in Zagreb – capitol of Croatia in winter or summer term for past few years. Organizer of the Festival is Cultural organization Croatia folk fest from Zagreb. Beside IFF “Zagreb folk fest” we organize festivals during summer on Adriatic coast - IFF “Adriatica folk fest” and “Istria folk fest”.So far the participants on the F e s t i v a l w e r e g r o u p s a n d ensembles from Slovakia, Czech Republic, Turkey, Russia, Ukraine, Greece, Bulgaria, Hungary, Poland, Italy, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, etc.

- Ticket for Thermal waterpark Aquae Vivae
THE COST INCLUDES:
Day 2 – Breakfast, departure for City of Krapinske Toplice, free day in Thermal waterpark Aquae Vivae, preparing for
the performance, ensembles' performance in Cultural center Krapinske Toplice, return to Hotel/Hostel, dinner, going
out (facultative), spending the night at the Hotel/Hostel
THE COST DOES NOT INCLUDE:
Accommodation in Hostel Arena Zagreb/Hotel 3***(Hotel I, Hotel Laguna, ...) in Zagreb based on 3 nights with half
board (breakfast and dinner) in 1/2 and 1/3 rooms, 2 performance, Tourist guide for Zagreb sightseeing, letter of
invitation, organizing expenses (Diplomas, program management, professional assistance), accommodation tax.
Each ensemble ( ) who accepts the Festival arrangement is obliged to prepare two folklore, music, dance, singing
choreographies lasting 10-12 minutes. Participants must be older than 12, an exception can be made in the case of
participants younger then 12 if they participate in the programme with adults, or they have an adult escort. An ensemble
can perform accompanied by a musical bend or high quality CD recording. Each ensemble should have at least one person
who speaks English fluently, and who will be the contact person with the Organiser and group guide. So far the
participants on our Festivals were ensembles from Russia, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Ukraine, Greece, Croatia, Turkey,
Slovakia, Bulgaria, Italy, Macedonia, etc.
- Bus transport of participants, parking at the hotel, vignettes, toll, ...
- Visa and health insurance valid in Croatia
FESTIVAL PROGRAM
Day 3 – Breakfast, free day for facultative excursion or sightseeing of Zagreb, return to Hotel/Hostel, preparing for
the performance, ensembles' performance in Zagreb open stage/Cultural center, dinner, going out (facultative),
spending the night at the Hotel/Hostel
Day 1 – Arrival of the ensembles at the Hotel/Hostel after 12 o'clock, accommodation and check in at the
hotel/hostel, free afternoon, meeting of the groups representative and Festival organisers before dinner, dinner,
going out (facultative), spending the night at the Hotel/Hostel.
Day 4 – Breakfast, check out from the Hotel/Hostel, ensembles' departure. With hope of seeing each other next
year!!!
