Food Festival 10
India is a land of diversity that supports and valuesthe nuances of differences across cultures and even
subcultures. We Indians appreciate our varied
backgrounds, tastes, habits, lifestyle and evencelebrate this knowledge.
Amidst this theme of variety in our country, 'food'finds an important place. Words of Napoleon
Bonaparte (that) An army marches on its stomach
have a legendary quality. This is to say that food is a
vital and a central aspect of our lives.
With this knowledge, IILM is organizing a foodfestival, which closely corresponds to one of the
closely held values of the institution. The particular
value emphasized here reads An appreciation of the
cultural heritage and socio-economic diversity of
India. On the lines of this idea, this food festival
embraces variety of cuisines, to pamper our palate.
