Conclusion
What is your conclusion for this project? This was a very time-consuming project. It was
definitely not easy, but interesting to work on figuring out a way to house 47 people in 4500 sq. ft. while "going green." Although my husband has worked construction and could help with the timeline and schedule, it was difficult finding costs for different things. The National Construction Estimator (provided from the link above) was very helpful in finding different construction/item costs as well as labor estimates. The beginning budget was 1.5 million dollars, and the total cost for this project was approximately $489,185.45, which is about a third of the total budget. I think that's a good thing, because it's not only saving money, but being GREEN as well!
