As computers are being used more and more ineducation, there will be soon no role for teachers in theclassroom.

There is no doubt that education and the learning process haschanged since the introduction of computers: The search for

information has become easier and amusing, and connectivityhas expedited the data availability. Though experts systemshave made computers more intelligent, they have not yetbecome a substitute of the human interaction in the learningprocess. In my opinion; what can be expected, is a change ofthe teachers? role but not their disappearance from theclassroom.

Nobody can argue that the acuisition of !nowledge is more funand easier with computers. The mere activity of touching andexploring this device constitutes an en"oyable tas! for a !id.

This, accompanied with the relaxing attitude and softwareinteractivity, usually conduce to a better grasping of new!nowledge. #t a higher educational level; the availability ofdigital boo!s, simulator and other academic materials, providethe student with an ever accessible source of information, thatotherwise would not be at hand.

$ut, besides the increasing complexity and behavior ofintelligent software, which is usually embedded in the academicdigital material, the need of human interaction in the learningprocess will always be present, at least in the foreseeablefuture. There is the necessity for a human being to be able todetermine what the speci%cs needs of each individual are. Theexpertise of a teacher in how to explain and adapt complexconcepts to di&erent individuals can hardly be mimic!ed by acomputer, no matter how sophisticated its software is.

#s computers are becoming a common tool for teaching, teachers should be more aware of their role as guides in theacuisition of !nowledge rather than transmitters of facts. Theyhave to be open minded to the changes that are ta!ing places,!eep updated and serve as a problem solvers in the learningprocess, thus allowing students to discover the fact forthemselves.

To summari'e, in my personal view, teachers play and will() playan important role in the classroom, especially at the primarylevel. No matter how complex computers become, there will beno replacement for the human interaction, but in the way haw

    this interaction ta!es place.

Even though globali(ation a)ects the world*s economiesin a positive way, its negative side should not beforgotten. +iscuss.

In the present age, globali'ation is playing increasinglyimportant role in our lives. $ut in the meantime whether it is a

blessing or a curse has spar!ed much debate. *ome peopleargue the globali'ation has fundamentally bene%cial in+uenceon our lives while many others contend that it has detrimentale&ect as well.

onvincing argument can be made that globali'ation not onlyplays a pivotal role in the development of technology andeconomy, but also promotes the exchange of cultures betweendi&erent countries. To start with, it is the globali'ation thatimpelled many corporate to become an international group, thereby ma!ing contribution to local technology andemployment. *peci%cally, when a multinational group establisha factory in a developing country, the new euipment, the newmanagement s!ill and the "ob vacancies are all in the bestinterest of local society. -oreover, people worldwide can !noweach other better through globali'ation. It is easy to see thatmore and more ollywood bloc!busters shows the culturesdi&erent from #merican, some recent examples are /ungfu0anda and -ummy.

#dmittedly, pro%t driven globali'ation severely a&ected theyoung people. Today, in the metropolises in di&erent countries,it is very common sight that teenagers are wearing NI/1 T2shirtand #didas footwear, playing i2pop music with #pple ipod andhaving /3. The culture that too! thousand years to form is "ustseems similar in these cities; it is loo!s li!e you can onlydistinguish them by their language. -eanwhile, in somedeveloping countries, sweat wor!shop is always the issue thatconcerned by 45. 3or instance, some report shows that someteenagers who employed by NI/16s contractor always stay inthe factory that is ful%lled by smell over 78 hours a day, butthey only wor! for %fty cents per hour.

In summary, I would concede that globali'ation do come withsome adverse e&ects. 9espite that the bene%ts created by it faroutweigh the disadvantages. 5verall, I convinced that we shouldfurther promote globali'ation and meanwhile the localgovernment should ta!e some measures to combat cultureassimilation and sweat wor!shop.

/n some countries children have very strict rules ofbehavior, in other countries they are allowed to doalmost anything they want. o what extent shouldchildren have to follow rules?

The extent to which children have to follow rules is in itself a

very complex issue, since children across the world grow up invery di&erent cultures. In India for example, the level of moralityis very high and children are to be very submissive to theirparents as well as other adults around them. This, however, isnot the case for the 4estern countries of the world wherechildren follow the motto Thou shalt do what thou wilt aspromoted by celebrities and roc! stars. I believe that followingstrict rules has both advantages as well as serious drawbac!s asdiscussed below.

3irstly, strict rules of behavior create responsible and respectfulchildren who in turn mature into respectful adults. This forms astable society which is virtually free from vices such asprostitution and drug abuse. *econdly, if children do not followstrict rules of behavior, they will get out of hand and becomewor!2 shy and indolent. This will then create a burden on societysince the government has to %nd ways to cater for these socialills.

owever, forcing children to follow strict rules of behaviordoesn6t always yield positive results as discussed above, mostof the time it bac!%res and wor!s against society. 3or example, teenagers are more li!ely to do the opposite of what they6re toldto do simply because they want to be independent. hildrenshould also have rights to exercise their free will and developtheir own pattern of behaviors. *trict rules simply destroy theindividuality of children if they6re imposed on them.

#t the end of the day, it is clear that children should be guidedby rules, but these rules should not be imposed on thembecause as human beings, they need to have room to developtheir own traits of character and adopt a behavioral pattern oftheir own.

As computers are being used more and more ineducation, there will be soon no role for teachers in theclassroom.

There have been immense advances in technology in mostaspects of people?s lives, especially in the %eld of education.

Nowadays, an increasing number of students rely on computersfor research and to produce a perfect paper for school purposes.5thers have decided to leave the original way of learning and toget !nowledge through online schools. These changes in thelearning process have brought a special concern regarding thepossible decrease of importance of teachers in the classroom.

*ome people believe the role of teachers started to fadebecause computers have been helping some students toprogress in their studies uic!er than when compared with anoriginal classroom. 3or example, in the same classroom, students have di&erent intellectual capacities, thus some wouldbe tied to a slow advance in their studies because of others?incapacity of understanding. In this way, pupils could progressin their acuisition of !nowledge at their own pace usingcomputers instead of learning from teachers.

owever, the presence of a teacher is essential for studentsbecause the human contact in+uences them in positive ways.3irstly, students reali'e that they are not dealing with a machinebut with a human being who deserves attention and respect.

They also learn the importance of studying in group and respectother students, which helps them to improve their social s!ills.

-oreover, teachers are reuired in the learning process becausethey ac!nowledge some student?s de%ciencies and help themto solve their problems by repeating the same explanation, giving extra exercises or even suggesting a private tutor. ence, students can have a bigger chance not to fail in a sub"ect.

In conclusion, the role for teachers in the learning process is stillvery important and it will continue to be in the future becauseno machine can replace the human interaction and itsconseuences.
