See attached. Standard development documents are posted on the mentor site. https://mentor.ieee.org/1349/documents Remember to login to see nonpublic information. New Business Working Group Policies and Procedures PCIC Working Group Policies and Procedures were approved on March 17, 2014. These are posted on the mentor site for IEEE 1349.

National Electrical Code For PCIC support of a Code Proposal for the 2017 National Electrical Code, the proposal needs to be presented and discussed at the Sunday afternoon Codes and Regulations Subcommittee meeting. Proposals discussed at Codes and Regulations are then presented at Thursday’s PCIC Executive Committee Meeting. Proposals are discussed and voted on at both of these meetings. If supported by PCIC, then a request is sent to SCC-18 asking for IEEE’s Representative of the respective Code Panel to support the proposal during Code Panel sessions. Proposals are further discussed in IEEE SCC-18 meetings. No proposals were brought forward at the IEEE 1349 Working Group meeting. Industry Tests and Data Base The data gathering excel spreadsheet will be reviewed and updated. A draft of the spreadsheet is posted to the IEEE 1349 mentor site & submitted to IEEE 1566 Working Group to get input to updating the spreadsheet. The Task Group for updating the spreadsheet are: Chris Heron, Dale Basso, Rick Paes, John Rama, Rich Holub and Bill Lockley. There was a suggestion that in the data gathering, it might be beneficial to identify the type of drive technology. ASD/motor data should be coordinated with the IEEE 1566 Working Group. Other Working Groups will be solicited for information after the data gathering form is updated.

myProject™ >> Manage Activity Profile

In the list of Activity Areas below (initially a list of Societies) clicking on (+) will expand the selection into its constituent components as follows from which you may select the Technical Activity Areas in which you are interested from either a general interest standpoint or specific technical project in which you wish to be involved and presumably ballot.

Society -- What you are Enrolling in --

Sponsor Enrollment as an interested party in general work of committee or indicating an interest in being notified on Ballot Invitations for all projects in a WG or all projects in a Sponsor. Working Group

Project Enrollment as interested party in the detailed technical work of the committee and as a member in the specific Project's Ballot.

Please note that these selections will simply place you on the list of IEEE-SA recognized interested parties for that general or specific technical area. Whether or not you have become a member or voting member of the area depends on the membership criteria of that area. Please contact the respective Chair for further information or to request membership.
