IEEE WIE NEDUET AG organized Hackfest, a highly informative and interactive seminar on cloud computing. The seminar took place on 9 th of August 2017 at the Video Conferencing Hall of Civil Engineering Department at NED University of Engineering and Technology. The program commenced at 14.30hrs, hosted by Ruba Baig, a member of the Documentations team. Our guest speaker was Muhammad Adeel Ibrahim, a Microsoft Certified Trainer and a Microsoft Certified Professional who is currently working as a senior software engineer at Afinity. Having 7 years of experience in Software Development, along with 6 years as a trainer, Mr. Ibrahim riveted the audience’s attention with his valuable insight on the subject “App development using Xamarin and Microsoft Azure”. Mr. Ibrahim began the seminar by enlightening the audience with the benefits of application development using Xamarin. He then highlighted the importance of using JavaScript for developing mobile phone applications. He also gave a brief description about Artificial Intelligence and Data Sciences and efficiently dealt with the queries of the audience. The seminar came to an end at 16.00hrs after which the Chairperson, Ms. Sidra Shakeel delivered a vote of thanks and presented the token of appreciation to the guest speaker. A competition was also planned for the coming week but was cancelled due to various unfavorable circumstances.
