2006 Activities • We have joint activities with IEEE North Queensland
Section and, MTT and Communication Society Chapter.
• The main activity of the section and chapter is Technical Talks by Distinguished Lecturers or Experts in the field; Communication Chapter supported 5 technical talks in 2006. The Technical talks are video recorded and are available in CD/DVD form.
• We also support IEEE Student Branch Activities – in 2006 an Engineering first year Student Project is initiated; Participants will be provided with electronic kits at a reduced rate; fabrication or development process are supervised by the IEEE Section and Chapter members.
• AGM was held on 24th November 2006.
