1 INTRODUCTION

SAP NetWeaver Identity Management (IdM) is a tool used by Sun Chemical to manage users’ access to applications securely and efficiently, while meeting JSOX audit and compliance requirements. The Self-Service Password Reset, one of the components of IdM, provides users a central location for managing and recovering passwords. 2 PASSWORD RESET PREREQUISITES

Please follow the below steps in sequence to perform the prerequisites to enable Password Reset functionality. 2.1 EP1 SAP Portal Login

Click on the EP1 SAP Portal link (https://sapportal.sunchemical.com) and log into the EP1 SAP Portal using your SAP logon ID and SAP Portal Password. If you do not have a user ID or a password, please submit a New User request for the EP1 system via the SAP Security request workflow published in Sun Chemical portal.

Note: EP1 SAP Portal is different from mySunChemical.com Portal.

2.2 Edit Authentication Questions

Log into the system and select the Identity Management available under the Self Service tab -> User Account Management -> Account Settings. The tabs appearing on you your screen may be slightly different since it depends on the portal roles assigned to your User ID.

Once the Identity Management tab is loaded, click on the Edit Authentication Questions link (Please make sure to disable the Internet Explorer Pop-up blocker for this website). Please answer all 5 questions in the following pop-up window and click on “Save” button to save your answers.

Note: Log out of the Portal before attempting the Password Reset steps in the below Section

3 PASSWORD RESET STEPS

If you are testing Password reset, please make sure to log out of portal prior to testing this functionality. 3.1 Load Password Reset Application

Please launch the Password Reset Application by clicking on the link (https://sapportal.sunchemical.com/idm/pwdreset). Select the check boxes to choose the system(s) for which you want to reset your password.

3.2 Verify Identity

Please answer the authentication questions to verify your identity and click on Next.

3.3 Set Password

Enter the new password in the Password fields and click on the Finish button. This completes the process of resetting your password. Note: Password must adhere to the password policies in each system, such as minimum number of characters.

4 LOGIN WITH NEW PASSWORD

Please log on to the relevant systems in which you reset your password and enter the new password to log in. Since it is an initial password, you will be prompted to change the password as required by the JSox policy. 4.1 Log on to SAP Portal – EP1

Please click on SAP Portal URL (https://sapportal.sunchemical.com) to log into EP1 Portal.

One you enter your UserID and the new password that you specified in the section 3.3, you will be taken to the below screen to pick a new password. For the Old password please enter the password that you set in section 3.3 and pick a new Portal Password and enter it in New Paasowrd and Confirm Password fields and click on Save button to complete the SAP Portal Password Reset process.

4.2 Log on to SAP ECC – RP1

Please select RP1 on the SAP Logon Pad and click on Log On button. Once you get the login screen, please enter your userID and new password that you recently set. Since it is an initial password, you will be challenged to change the password as per JSox policy.

One you enter your UserID and the new password that you specified in the section 3.3, you will be taken to the below screen to pick a new password. Enter a new

password in the New Passowrd and Repeat Password fields and click on Green Check button to complete the SAP ECC RP1 Password Reset process.
