As our film opening will be in the comedy genre, I would consider actors who commonly star in comedies. This would be because they are experienced and confident in this genre and are generally associated with funny films. Stacey Munez For Stacey Munez, I would consider a generally beautiful actress who also has the ability to look nerdy. Blonde hair would be preferable as it has connotations of innocence and purity. A lean physique would also be ideal as men tend to find thin women more sexually attractive. Cameron Diaz  My first choice would be Cameron Diaz. She’s played several roles that portray her as the desirable woman such as The Mask (1994) and Charlie’s Angels (2000). She is the stereotypically beautiful blonde hair and blue eyed woman. She has also demonstrated her ability to play the nerdy and odd character, such as in There’s Something About Mary (1998) and Shrek (2001). Overall, I would choose Cameron Diaz to play the character of Stacey Munez as she is a famous and well-known actress who can evidently play Stacey’s split personality. I also chose Diaz as she has starred in several famous comical films. Amanda Seyfried Amanda Seyfried would be my second choice as she is also thin and blonde-haired, but she has not commonly played the outcast or the geeky girl. She did, however, accomplish the appearance of a nerdy bookworm in Jennifer’s Body (2009) and played the unintelligent outcast in Mean Girls (2004). She is also known for playing the beautiful and desirable woman in the romantic relationship, such as Dear John (2010) and Letters to Juliet (2010). This shows her ability to play an amorous and feminine character. Overall, Amanda Seyfried is my second choice for the character of Stacey Munez as opposed to my second choice as she has played a large variety of roles, which barely brush Stacey’s character.

As our film opening will be in the comedy genre, I would consider actorswho commonly star in comedies. This would be because they are

experienced and confident in this genre and are generally associated withfunny films.

Stacey Munez

For Stacey Munez, I would consider a generally beautiful actress whoalso has the ability to look nerdy. Blonde hairwould be preferable as it has connotations of

innocence and purity. A lean physique would alsobe ideal as men tend to find thin women more

sexually attractive.

Cameron Diaz

My first choice would be Cameron Diaz. She’splayed several roles that portray her as the

desirable woman such as The Mask (1994) andCharlie’s Angels (2000). She is the stereotypically

beautiful blonde hair and blue eyed woman.

She has also demonstrated her ability to play thenerdy and odd character, such as in There’s

Something About Mary (1998) and Shrek (2001).

Overall, I would choose Cameron Diaz to play thecharacter of Stacey Munez as she is a famous and

well-known actress who can evidently playStacey’s split personality. I also chose Diaz as shehas starred in several famous comical films.

Amanda Seyfried

Amanda Seyfried would be my second choice asshe is also thin and blonde-haired, but she has not

commonly played the outcast or the geeky girl. She did, however, accomplish the appearance of a

nerdy bookworm in Jennifer’s Body (2009) and

played the unintelligent outcast in Mean Girls(2004).

Although she is more appropriate in terms of age, she is not asexperienced in the comedy genre as Cameron Diaz is.

Bob Philips

For Bob Philips, I would be looking at a laid back character with geekyquirks such as glasses, breathing issues and phobias. In terms of

physique, I would consider someone who is quite large and maybe quiteshort. I would choose this appearance as it’s the image commonly

associated with a stereotypical outcast or reject, and obesity is oftenassociated with humour and black comedy.

Jonah Hill

My ideal actor to play the role of BobPhilips would be Jonah Hill. This is

because he naturally looks nerdy (ashe wears glasses and has crazy, curlyhair) and has the right physique for

Bob’s character.

Jonah Hill has starred as the large, nerdy character previously in films

such as Superbad (2007) andForgetting Sarah Marshall (2008). This

shows that he is experienced in thecomedy genre and can confidently

play a nerdy role as he has done in thepast.

Stuart Thurgood

Stuart Thurgood is the more frugal and orderly than the other characters, but is also sociable and intellectual. It is important that an actor can pick

up both sides of his personality and represent the character of Stuaccordingly. Stuart is rather cute looking and lean, but would have an

unusual characteristic (such as crazy hair, an odd dress sense or apeculiar interest).

Adam G. Sevani

Adam G Sevani is quite a new actor andhas only acted in 7 films. I chose Sevanias he is age appropriate (18 years old)

and fits the appearance of Stuart.

I also chose this actor as he has playedthe odd outcast before in the film Step

Up 2: The Streets (2008). He alsodemonstrated his ability to act as an

intelligent individual.

Although he is not famous for acting in comical films, he can definitelyachieve the nerdy personality and appearance of Stu.

Tom Burgess

For the character of Tom, I would choose someone with cute, boyish looksand who is quite polite and respectful when at home. But with friends,

Tom would need to be loud, rebellious and cool – or at least attempt to be.His physique would be rather tall and very thin, and he appears to be shy

and quiet.

Michael Cera

Michael Cera has played a variety of nerdy roles in comedy films, including

Superbad (2007), Juno (2007), Year One(2009) and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World

(2010).

I chose Cera because, like Tom’scharacter, he plays the geeky role thatalways seems to win the girl. This suitsTom’s character as we intend for him to

win Stacey.

Overall, I chose Michael Cera as he hasconfidently played this role in the pastand is ideal for the character of Tom

Burgess.
