Idea Summary:

A teenage girl starts to have dreams in which the acts she does in her dreams happen within reality. She begins arguing a lot with her mother and when she falls asleep one night ends up killing her in a woods, when she wakes she rushes there to find her dead, she has to find out who is controlling her dreams and how to stop it.

Genre:

The genre is going to be horror with the subgenre of psychological.

Storylines/Themes:

Murder, gore, mental issues, psychological issues, fantasy and supernatural.

Characters:

Main Character: Played by Abby, she is a teenage girl and the story is based around her and her psychological problems.

Second Character: The mother, she will play as the next important character she will be the one that gets killed by the main character.

Third Character: The boyfriend who will be supportive of the main character throughout.

Fourth Character: The father who will play a small role and possibly just be seen within the background.

Locations:

Locations will include a house and mainly he bedroom and a wood area, it will possibly include streets and roads.

Costumes/Props:

Costumes will consist of everyday clothing to keep it as realistic as possible. Props will be things such as blood, knives, bed, everyday household objects.

Visual Style:

Very dark, low lighting to fit to the themes and the genre of film, grey type of tint to the scenes. Scenes where the dreams are seen may have brightened colouring and excessive exploitation so that the dreams are clear to see from the reality.

Group Roles:

The group roles will consist of Abigail playing the main character, so this means I will be recording the scenes with Abby’s input. We will have share responsibility over the editing of the footage, and the types of shots used.
