18 - 19 August 2016

Partnered with the International Monetary Fund, Singapore Management University’s Sim Kee Boon Institute of Financial Economics organized a two-day conference on financial technology and inclusion.

With a political cartoon as a visual anchor, and hand silhouettes to guide reading through a web of content - the Sketch Walls were light-hearted, yet meaningful stage centrepieces for a content-heavy topic.

MILLENNIAL 20-20

Millennial 20-20 was two full days of seventy-three sessions, five tracks, in three separate rooms, at one picturesque ArtScience Museum.

As their media partners, we provided beautiful, succinct summaries of sessions for participants who couldn’t splice themselves among separate tracks: and that everyone got a glimpse of the best insights that millennial marketing had to offer.

DELTA CAPITAROUNDTABLE

Delta Capita, a boutique consulting firm, came to us with the twin goals of branding themselves in Asia - and for a piece of office art that outlasts it’s purpose as a time-based visual summary - at their inaugural roundtable discussion on digital transformation.

From the creative brief of a fishbone diagram, we created a blue-ocean strategy inspired seascape: complete with quote bubbles on Singapore’s fin-tech industry, mirrored after Delta’s logo; ocean creatures alluding to diverse stakeholders (e.g. regulators are jellyfish who sting rule-breakers); and a gargantuan whale to turn a mind-map technique into lush imagery.

RHT COMPLIANCESUMMIT

RHT Compliance Solutions - the largest compliance consultancy in Southeast Asia - engaged Idea Ink to summarize a Compliance Summit with over 500 delegates from banks, law firms, and press media.

With a landmark scale to match, we created an urban landscape inspired by Gotham City, to describe the complex web of crime and risk which compliance entails - replete with police chase scenes, and of course, Bat-Lights to demarcate every panel session.

UOB ENGAGEEXHIBITION

DISPLAY

United Overseas Bank was interested in a display panel for their Innovation Work Group’s corporate day booth, titled “UOB Engage 2016”.

Tasked with explaining their twin functions - to establish internal innovation and external partnerships - we created a wall panel with an infinity loop, as a reference to the symbiotic nature of both arms.

This serves as a stylish centrepiece, photo backdrop, and memorable souvenir for UOB after.

We were also engaged by United Overseas Bank to provide visuals for an explainer video. Echoing the visual motifs from the exhibition display, we created a three minute video that explained the processes of Innovation Work Group; their innovation hub, the FinLab; and the singular purpose of revamping a legacy institution.

RHT COMPLIANCESOLUTIONS

RHT Law Taylor Wessing tasked us with creating a marketing brochure that not only explained regulatory necessities for fin-tech startups; but also to differentiate themselves from the stereotype of stodgy, suit-and-tie lawyers.

Using transport as a visual metaphor, we thus created an infographic that explained how lawyers are both captains and compasses for a steering ship at sea - with hovering insight and deep-seated resources.

GIANTS LEARNING TECHNOLOGIES

Giants Learning Technologies is a B2C financial education company, who wanted to simplify their Income Mastery Programme story in extremely layman terms.

Using ‘Jack and The Beanstalk’ as a starting point, we created a landscape that evoked growth: where both participant incomes could grow strength-to-strength, with the Income Mastery Programme’s 12-month steering process.

VISUAL INTELLIGENCE WORKSHOPS

OMG PRODUCTSKETCHINGWORKSHOP

One Maker Group (OMG), a not-for-profit consortium for Singapore’s Maker Movement community, wanted to train their apprentices in key fundamentals of product sketching - despite having a diverse group of both designers and sketching amateurs.

Using our optimized skills for real-time illustration - and leveraging on product design knowledge - we were able to blend practical techniques with theoretical finesse, thus providing an uneasy group with simple, subtle tips to vastly augment their sketching abilities within three hours.
