An international federation of over 40 NGOs and charities, promoting peace & cultural understanding through the exchange of people & skills. 1949 ICYE established between Germany & the USA. 1987 ICYE becomes a United Nations Peace Messenger. 1993 ICYE UK established A registered charity sending over 70 volunteers per year to support local NGOs, with a focus on ethical volunteering. ICYE UK offer 3 PROGRAMMES; Long Term: 6 or 12 months. STePs: 3 weeks to 16 weeks. Morocco: 4 weeks teaching.
