Described as ‘versatile, full of charisma and character-ised by extraordinary care for sound quality’, the accordionist Bartosz Glowacki certainly shows the qualities of a rising star. Winner of numerous competitions, he was awarded the Polish Young Musician of the Year in 2009 and represented Poland at the Eurovision for Young Musicians Competition in Vienna. He has performed as a soloist at the Wigmore Hall, the Royal Festival Hall, the Royal Albert Hall, the Salle Cortot and the Witold Lutoslawski Concert Studio of Polish Radio. Bartosz is an active chamber musician and has worked with artists such as Nigel Kennedy, Trevor Pinnock, Tanita Tikaram, Manchester Collective, Lizzie Ball and Gabriella Swallow. He also plays regularly with international orchestras and companies, including the LSO, the RPO, the London Sinfonietta, the National Theatre and the Royal Opera House.

Australian-Russian guitarist Andrey Lebedev is on a mission to redefine the relationship of the guitar to the classical mainstream. His creative collaborations and track record of performing new works have gained the attention of critics and audiences across Europe, South America, USA, and Australia. He was mentored by guitar giants Julian Bream and John Williams and is a Scholarship Holder of the Imogen Cooper Music Trust. He is a prize winner of the renowned German ARD music competition and of the Guitar Foundation of America, First Prize winner of the Gisborne and Adelaide international guitar competitions, and is still the only guitarist in the 85-year history of the Sydney Eisteddfod to win the esteemed NSW Doctors Orchestra Instrumental Scholarship. Andrey studied with Timothy Kain at the Australian National University and Michael Lewin at the Royal Academy of Music.

The! Imogen Cooper Music Trust was set up to enable gifted young musicians to benefit from masterclasses with the distinguished concert pianist Imogen Cooper. The Trust is committed to raising public awareness of a new generation of emerging talents by organising concerts for ICMT’s young artists at the cusp of their careers. ICMT owes hearty thanks to Easthampstead Park for their generous support of this project.

The Imogen Cooper Music Trust is a UK registered charity number 1162347
