ICELAND HANGOUT 5 Days Nat Geo Explorer 148 Guests Expeditions in: Jul $4,990 to $9,970 DAY 1: Arrive Reykjavik, Iceland MORNING Your flight will arrive in Reykjavik, the world’s northernmost capital city, this morning (those departing from North America will have been on an overnight flight). Let the city present itself through glimpses of high mountains and colorful, Scandinavian-style buildings. We are met by our hosts and whisked away for breakfast as we hear about today’s exciting options. Note: Because the flight from the U.S. to Iceland is relatively short, and arrives very early in the morning, you will not have had much time for sleep. We highly recommend reserving your room early and transferring directly from the airport to your hotel, taking a nap and being refreshed for afternoon and evening activities. The room can be reserved for early check in at additional cost. Please inquire for details. But for those of you who want to ‘do it all’, we will have activities in the morning, too. Hang out with us in Iceland and enjoy a compact, uniquely immersive land & sea adventure. Actively explore Reykjavík and the Golden Circle for two days—and thrill to the natural beauty of the “land of fire and ice.” This is a rare kind of travel opportunity—active, engaging, interesting, even uplifting—all in a compact, 5-day time frame. It’s travel with insider access, and the soul of a party.
