OVERVIEW The ICC wishes to appoint a design agency to conceptualize and produce a perpetual logo for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup. In addition to this the agency must also conceptualize and produce the full event branding suite for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup, New Zealand 2021. EVENT INFORMATION The ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2021 will be held in New Zealand from February to March (exact dates TBC), in which the top teams in the world face-off against each other in a round-robin format to take home the most coveted prize in Women’s cricket. REQUIREMENT

• The ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup Perpetual logo • The Event brand suite - The ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup, New Zealand 2021, brand suite and all relevant

deliverables

Timing Ability to meet project timelines. FULL SCOPE OF WORKS 1. Creation of brand platform and messages for the perpetual and event brand 2. Logo design including rendered CGI artwork for perpetual and Event logos (along with the necessary testing) 3. Colour palette for the perpetual and event brands 4. Logo animation and music for the perpetual and event brands 5. Look and feel (Sub-graphic) creation for the event brand – To be synonymous with host nation New Zealand 6. Bespoke font creation for the perpetual brand 7. Online asset management portal and maintenance for 5 years 8. Creation of “ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup Trophy Tour, driven by Nissan” artwork suite:

o Core Trophy Tour logos (see below examples of previous Trophy Tour marks) o Signage kit pf parts including feather flags, roll-up banners, plinth and backdrop (Look and feel branding the same as

main event)

9. Brand implementation / visual strategy – direction on brand application across all event touchpoints including mapping of

spectator journey 10. Online guidelines and brand asset management portal (as further described below), including collateral, tools and templates,

merchandise examples, etc for the event brand. Deliverables to include (but not limited to): • Introduction / Welcome page from ICC CEO • Information on past ICC Women’s Cricket World Cups (history of the tournament, previous winners, etc) • Brand identity inspiration and description / story • Logo suite to be produced in full colour gradient, PMS, reverse and mono (min. requirement) • All logos to include “TM” notice • Logo suite to also include the following reproductions:

o Embroidery o Cut-downs, wordmarks and other necessary variations o Crops

• Final artwork files to be provide in CMYK and RGB (JPEG + PNG) formats • Minimum size guide for logo(s) • Exclusion zone guide for logo(s) • Composite marks; following categories required:

o Proud Host City o Official Partner o Official Travel Agent

• Sub-graphic / graphic device / visual language and examples of use • Brand application examples; to be added to brand portal:

o Staff event clothing examples o Stadium dressing examples o Match ticket examples o Outdoor signage examples (feather flags, banners, hoardings, kiosks, etc) o Wayfinding and directional signage (in city and in stadia) o Accreditation pass examples o Event logo best practices; do’s and don’ts (eg. image cropping, graphic overlays, etc) o Website design / reskinning (4 pages – Home page, fixtures list, teams and match centre) o App interface (4 pages – Landing screen, fixtures list, teams and match centre) o Stadium hospitality suite dressing (3 x generic mock-ups of hospitality suites)

• Merchandise and licensing: o Event merchandise range examples (Caps, mini-bats, T-shirts, key rings, etc.) o Retail labelling and packaging examples (item tags, plastic bags, etc)

INITIAL APPLICANT SUBMISSION TO INCLUDE

• Reverse brief of project • Perpetual logo suite for ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup

o Inspiration behind logo development o Detail around explorations and testing conducted o Event logo suite for New Zealand 2021 (complete with detail around colour exploration and rationale) o Application examples across imagery o Multiple iterations of logo (primary, stacked, horizontal, linear, etc)

• Initial explorations for Event look & feel (sub-graphic) – applicants may provide multiple options (with rationales) • Comprehensive budget broken down into:

o Perpetual branding suite development (includes perpetual logo, font, trophy tour brand) o New Zealand 2021 Event branding suite development (logo, sub-graphic and all subsequent assets) o Brand implementation / visual strategy o Online guidelines and brand asset management portal

*The above is a minimum requirement, applicants may submit a more detailed budget • Rate card for future ICC Women’s CWC related projects (please highlight discounts offered, if any) • Timelines for delivery of Full scope of work (must not exceed February 3, 2020)
