Bridge Control
Integrated NavigationThe Raytheon Anschtz Integrated Bridge and Navigation System (IBS) is based on the latest
generation o cutting-edge technology, which sets new standards or unctionality, sae operation
and ergonomics. It can be adapted to military shock level requirements o the speciic customer.
The Integrated Bridge and Navigation System provides much more than the sum o the abilities
o its individual components. The ocus on unctional integration enables highly customised
solutions, ranging rom bridge sizes or small patrol crats up to sophisticated bridge systems or
large naval vessels.
The latest generation o our Integrated Bridge oers intelligent redundancy management,
advanced unctionality and ease o operation as well as reliability and ship saety. Multiunction
Systems are available to combine all nautical unctions with a urther option or integrating
speciic military applications and other ship system operations. Various interaces with the ships
backbone make the Integrated Bridge scalable to an Integrated Platorm Management System.
Raytheon Anschtz looks back on years o experience in naval system integration. A wide varietyo services is oered to support all systems through their whole lie cycle.

All necessary data or the core navigation system are provided by a suite
o high perormance and reliable sensors (e.g. Anschtz gyro compass,
Marine Inertial Navigation System, echo sounder, speed log, P(Y) GPS
and weather sensors). The sensor inormation is distributed consistently
to all connected workstation within a real time capable navigation data
bus, which provides ull redundancy in distribution.
Havingalldataprocessedsimultaneouslyatallworkstationsnotonly

AdvancedDataManagementThe Data Distribution Unit (DDU) eatures a Degradation
Management, which continuously monitors the availability
and quality o sensor inormation. The most reliable set o data
is distributed to all connected workstations to ensure consist-
ent and common inormation. Thereby the Multi-Redundant

OpenArchitectureBridgeIntegrationPlatform
The innovative Bridge Integration Platorm combines all sensor data and
makes them available at each workstation connected to the bus. It improves
the operation o the ship through intelligent integration o unctions in an
open architecture environment. The Integration Platorm interaces with
the ships data backbone, making possible not only the integration o addi-
tional applications or speciic navy eatures such as automation data, vital
platorm controls or naval light gun control, but also the ull scalability
and uture expandability o the bridge system.
