Introduction

The six of us attempted to get bike racks and place them in certain areas, so students could bike to the bus stop and have the bus pick them up there. This would prevent more idling of the buses and students would be getting more exercise, which schools are always promoting. We choose to do this because global warming is a big factor in our worlds issue, and we wanted to do our part in trying to save our world.

Challenges

Our project was going pretty smooth in the beginning, we agreed and we got our stuff done. We had meetings and the future of the project was looking pretty clear, but later on we had hit a rough patch. Our group members started disagreeing and there was little communication between us. But we have cleared it up and we are all on the same page.

Our original plan was to set up bike racks in port hood, but then we realized we needed a traffic light and crosswalk. Then we decided to try and set one up in mabou to see if this would work, and have it going for the rest of the year as a test to see if this would take off.
