Patented technology Most lasers employ the roller fixing method to

fuse the toner to paper.

Enhanced Host-based controller CAPT uses the superior processing power of a host

PC to rapidly process and render print data into a Bitmap.

The bitmap data is then compressed using Hi SCoA(Smart Compression Architecture), this reduces file size and therefore transmission times between the PC and printer.

UFRIIUltra Fast Rendering

UFRII is the Canon’s own PDL technology. UFII provides greater processing speed than PCL

than advanced processing and rendering algorithms. With Load Balancing Technology UFRII outperforms

PCL even when processing complex documents and graphics.

Load balancing distributes the processing load intelligently according to the printer data. This distribution achieves an optimal balance to significantly shorten total printing time.
